Who is this guy his dad knows, Fast Eddie the Used car Salesman? At least with the $2 mil, he'll be able to afford the new engine every 5000 miles that he'll need.

He's completely genuine and not full of himself, and he's just added a filthy changeup to neutralize the righties that could be the difference he needs to succeed in the bigs. He's going to be a terrific one. I'm amped for the season, going to be interesting to see what happens with the pitching. Two wily dinosaurs (Dickey and Buehrle) surrounded by an army of kids aged 20 (Osuna), 20 (Castro), 21 (Norris), 22 (Sanchez) and 24 (Hutchison), plus an ace in 23-year-old Marcus Stroman currently out for the year. Only three at 30+ with Marco Estrada in addition to Dickey/Buehrle among the 12 pitchers going north. 'Course, there's always risks when it comes to pitching (as we saw with the potentially crippling loss of Stroman), so it's probably going to be quite a roller coaster ride, but don't think it's going to be dull this year. Plus we've got Johan Santana possibly ready for the end of April if he can keep his arm from falling off and if one of the young guns falters.
