LAST EDITED ON 09-11-14 AT 03:31 AM (EST) From what I've been reading, she is financially dependent on him. Which frequently deters an abused spouse/partner from getting out of the arrangement. Also, they have a kid, who was born before the marriage. I'm somewhat on the fence about the indefinite suspension. Yes it punishes him, but it doesn't exactly help her. The NFL can't decree that they are now divorced, and it can't prosecute him and send him to jail.
