Wow, I hated being sick while the Red Sox were winning the World Series. But I think I came back too soon from being sick the week before. Now I seem to be over it. Nothing like posting the picks at the last minute, right? But here's an option for Molaholic's benefit as last week's winner and because I delayed posting. I'm posting a 16-game slate. But anyone that picks today before 9:30 ET can substitute the USC @ Oregon State game for ANY of the 16 games in the slate. Really. Of course, Oregon State is favored, but there are some people that bleed crimson and gold that might opt for it. Here's the picks (all games Saturday): 1. Virginia Tech @ Boston College 2. Penn State at Minnesota.
I think this is essentially a toss-up, and so a worthy game to offer up for double credit.
At least I don't have any idea who will win, and it could be a good game.
I considered the Alabama vs. LSU game because I think that Alabama, while having notable strengths on both sides of the ball, also has shown some weakness on both sides. And a team like LSU could just pull off a win. I'm leaning LSU, but it's a tough game to pick. Alabama does seem invincible at times.
