"Possible Gilligan's Island RUMOR "
this is just a RUMOR and unfortunately has no back up proof, could be a radio stunt for all I know. There is a well respected radio personality in the Orlando area known as Jim Phillips, he has an afternoon talk show, some politics but mostly whatever he would like to talk about that day. His show is also carried on the XM satelite radio channek 152. One of the interns on his show is a female by the name of Jana (Bananna). She is off filming a reality series right now, they haven't said which one, because 1.) She didn't tell them or 2.) confidentiality contracts. All they say is she is off filming a reality show. They did say that a lot of their listeners think it is Gilligans Island, because she left around the time that show started filming. There is no proof she is on Gilligans other than speculation and timing she has been gone for about 3 weeks I think. She comes off as sort of an air head on the show so I don't really see her as a Maryann or a Ginger. This woman is an intern??? What is she, a middle-aged career-changer?
Well she's definitely not Mary-Ann, below's a copy of a cast teaser photo TBS released this week, I'll be doing a full story on it later today. According to the occupational descriptions (no names) of the cast, she's also not the millionaire's wife or Ginger. I have a wierd gut feeling that the Ginger role is being played by Tawny Kitaen (she's described as "high-maintenance but fun-loving movie star who will be featured in three movies in 2004" -- Kitaen is definitely wild enough... and also D-list enough to possibly be willing to stoop to something like this)

Turns out it was a show in which they bring people from different countries and languages together to live in a house, she is back, but that is pretty much all she could say, and that it has no american network to be shown on, but it will show in Europe.

I think the Carmen Electra info is correct.
I read it somewhere too. There was even an interview with her about the filiming of a "reality show" at the same time GI was being filmed.
Also mentioned was that the cast had to be evacuated from the island when the recent hurricanes blew through....

She does bear a striking resemblance to Lovey-from-Hell Donna, though.
