Oh and the cop (Jerry?) lost about 115lbs and gained 24 years of his life back. The Dr. was on and said that JErry's body was 76 years old when he started and now he's back to 52 years (and he's 51 in real life). Amazing

LAST EDITED ON 12-16-08 AT 09:04 PM (EST)Phil lost 151lbs (45.62%) and beat out Amy. Wow! His wife Amy lost 105lbs (45.85%) and beat Phil by a pound. Mr. Vicki...Brady...looks chiseled. He lost 117lb(34.31%) Brady if you ever dump Vicki, call me! Renee (from here in the Ft Worth area - GO CHICA!) needs to lose 122lbs to beat Amy. Nope "just" 106 for 39.7%. Still amazing. Amy is still in the lead (wouldn't that be justice to Vicki?!) with only Heba in her way of winning $100,000. Hefa really does look good too, as much as I hate to say it. I hope she does well, but just short of winning it. She started at 294lbs. (Update after teh commercial)

Me too, what a bummer. At least Michelle didn't have to compete against her. I actually hope Vicky beats Ed, because nobody would buy a Bob work out video with Vicky in it. And Bob is the one I have the biggest problem with. If he hadn't made Amy C. fall in love with him, she would have voted off Vicky a month ago.

I've gotten into the habit of taping this show and watching it later so I can fastforward through all the fluff and filler.I think I watched about 20 minutes of tonight's 2 hour finale. very happy that Michelle won. Goes to show you that Jillian's teams come to play. Someone from Jillian's team has won every season that she was part of.
Next season looks interesting.

Raise your hand if you would have jumped up and down and squealed like a little girl if Icky had fell. *raises hand*

96. "RE: Finale Thoughts" |
I felt bad for Ed just before they went to the results of who America voted. Here he was going on and on again about how he hoped that America voted for Heba. I was thinking, you'll be in for a shock. To make matters worse, it was a land-slide. A Heba/Ed sweep didn't even cross my mind... thank goodness that wasn't the case! That would have royally sucked. It's amazing how really clueless Vicky is. I've read a couple of her blogs, specifically the ones in which she comments about getting a bad edit. I also read the comments that people (Vicky supporters) have made. They tell her not to listen to people like us, that it's all editing and that we have no clue what's really going on. Do I believe that there's such a thing as a bad edit? Of course! It happens all the time in an attempt to make a bad guy and good guy in order to get ratings. But there are just some things that you cannot edit such as Vicky's comment about the "lame prize". It came out of your mouth, honey, as is. I don't think the editors would piece together words in order to have that line come out. And you can't edit Vicky's blank stare when Bob had asked her if she had learned anything about herself during this whole experience... This is evident because her post-ranch days consisted of waking up at 4:00 a.m., working out, going to work, working out again after work, getting home and seeing her kids right before they went to bed... uh, hello???!!! It was all about gameplay, gameplay, gameplay. I want to win so bad, that I'm not going to see my family. I'm going to work out like a fiend and to hell with everything else. The whole point of the biggest loser is to change your life... the cash is secondary. So what if she would have won the cash? Then what? You have to incorporate your new lifestyle into the family... make your kids eat veggies, prepare healthy meals and spend time as a family, not ignore them while you work out. You have to go about your regular life but using the things you've learned. It was so apparent that she didn't learn sh!t. If that were me, I would be embarassed and not have gone out on stage after they aired that. She claims she gets it now (after a chat with Phil, of all people) but I don't know. I can't see her changing her lifestyle that much. When one of the last prizes was up for grabs, she immediately jumped on that... the chance for the Biggest Loser to make meals for her family. Not everyone gets that luxury... they do it themselves, they learn to do it. Look at Stacey and her husband. The first ones kicked off the ranch and they look phenominal and they did it themselves! There's a reason why a person from Jillian's team always wins... it's because they get it. They realize that they need to change their life and they've made peace with their inner turmoil. It's more than just working out (Vicky!!). It was so evident with Michelle... she was happier when she left the ranch. She did her best to do what she could with her workouts and if she didn't get her 4 hours in, it wasn't the end of the world.... she ended up winning regardless. As a final comment, what was up with that floor? Funny how Vicky and Heba both almost took a tumble (karma?) and Michelle didn't. I was worried for Ally though... high heels, slippery floor and 9 mos prego... that's why she probably didn't move around too much on stage! She looked great though! It was an interesting and maddening season. I didn't know that next season started so soon. Hopefully, we go back to the basics and remove the "Survivor" component. Fortunately, the people on next season won't have had a chance to mimic the terrible three of this season. A Tribe-ulous Holiday Creation

91. "You rocked it Michelle!" |
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!I was so happy to see Michelle win. The good vs. evil meme applied more to Biggest Loser this season, than it did to Survivor Gabon. I tried to fast forward through most parts that had Icky -- pre-arranged footage of her going to pick up her son, and she almost shed a tear or two! Absolutely zero mention of how her daughter is doing weight-wise. I seem to recall that Tom (was that the tough brother's name from last season?) talked about how he and his family were all on a much healthier lifestyle. My son asked why Icky didn't get home til 8:30 at night, if she got off work at 5:00 and went to work out for an hour. I wondered the same. The almost fall was classic! But enough about that dreadful person! I loved the audience last night. The applause for Ed was pretty decent, but I noticed a distinct drop in the applause for Heba - it was very tepid, lol! Michelle got the most love all night long. I agree that Heba is certainly a very pretty lady, and I always thought so. Did she go braless last night? that's what it looked like to me, and I agree with everyone else, that's not a good look on her. Ed looked very good. I wonder how they will maintain their weight loss. Phil and Amy - amazing, both of them! Phil is wowza hot! I wanted one of them to win the at-home prize, darn it. Still, I think they have made positive life changes and are going to keep the weight off, or at least most of it. So Heba and Ed can have the $100K, but I think Phil and Amy will be more successful overall in keeping the weight off. Amy C. looked terrific as did her mom. The wife of the first couple voted off looked amazing -- and she did this mostly on her own, fabulous! Jerry was the biggest surprise of the night to me, because I felt sure he would lose some but still be heavy. I'm very impressed and happy for him. Colleen is a cute as can be. Nice shot of the cutie pie from last season who won the at-home prize, and he looks just as terrific. I am definitely looking forward to next season, and hope and pray that they selected contestants who will focus on the most important reason for being at the ranch, changing habits and lifestyle so you can be healthier. Goodbye Icky and Heffa!!! Designed by Agman, siggy maker to the gemstones

99. "The Next Season!" |
LAST EDITED ON 12-18-08 AT 08:18 AM (EST)I have to say that I am VERY excited for the new season, because I KNOW someone who is on it! My neighbor and his cousin are/were contestants - he got sent home about 3 weeks ago, after 8 weeks on the ranch, where he lost 100 lbs! It was the most weight lost in the shortest period of time! There were 22 contestants this time, so there were still quite a few left when he came home - just as they were splitting into black and blue. Dayne & Blaine are their names - I could see them in the promos the other night - he is a really tall guy - I think they were wearing black shirts before they got split into black and blue. Dayne's wife got a call from Bob when it was their anniversary - I thought that was awfully sweet! Anyway- just had to spill! Looking forward to next season! Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman...
