The reason they took the time off in October was so they could have brand new episodes each week of November sweeps. The gap now at least has the benefit of meaning there should only be one post Sweeps repeat gap between January and the end of the season. As much as I hate the fact that this Wednesday's ep. will be the last till Jan.11th, I truly do believe that "LOST" has NOT given back so little. It's a 5 year plan. The Producers have been up-front with us. The story-line has NOT been disappointing. Nothing, so far, has been too "out there"! In MY humble opinion?
