PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are

Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"Episode on 2/9 I am stunned!" |
As an African American Christian mother of 3, I am stunned at the cold, controlling, disrespectful, arrogant, self riteous attitude of that Gillespie woman. When she looks at the tape I hope she notices 1) her husband's kindness toward the new "wife" and the effort he made to be open and learn from her. He demonstrated Christian compassion and tolerance. Clearly this was uncomfortable for him, but he tried to be courteous and use the experience to grow. 2) that she immediately, upon returning home, tried to instill in her children the same bigotry she felt. Unchristian. She asked if it wasn't too "wierd" among other comments in spite of her children's expressions of pleasure and appreciation for the other mom. 3) she refused to listen and barked orders in a most unladylike and disrespectful manner completely unconcerned that she was hurting someone. 4) I hope she saw a quiet and loving man with a domineering and mean spirited woman Does anyone know how to get opinions on various shows submitted to the producers. I want this woman to know how I feel. She is a monster!

2. "RE: Episode on 2/9 I am stunned!" |
thank you for your comments. Personally I felt the typical texas, christian, republican family looked about as artificial as the Stepford wives. I'd worry a lot about those kids rebelling when they get into the real world. I hope they realize that their perception of the world will require them to get out of their safe little world. Most of the US don't sit around cleaning house and reading the bible. The black lady was a poor example of a christian.
