Has anybody else noticed how many of the husbands in these shows just seem to sit back and let their wives walk all over them? There have been some cases of domineering men, but by and large it seems to be the wives who are in charge.On both Wife Swap and Trading Spouses, we have had husbands who work 8+ hours and day and then come home and do all the cooking and cleaning. We have seen husbands who serve their wives breakfast in bed every morning. We have seen husbands like the poor guy who let his wife get rid of the STOVE without even telling him! It seems like nothing these women do is too crazy for their husbands to put up with. Ramona's (artsy wife) husband came out and admitted that it was easier to just do things her way. Then the new wife comes in and starts treating him like a man and he eats it up. While I don't believe in patriarchs ruling the roost, it would be nice to see some guys with a little backbone for a change.
