PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"First Impressions ;-)" |
Hello!! Ok, I will admit it I was addicted to PH. I hope in a weird twisted way that this will indeed replace PH in a realistic way. I miss PH!!! But if I see once shadow of Toni I will be writing the producers myself because that is just plain wrong. But on on to the point of this posting: My early favorites are !1. David: Is he a cutie or what! And he has feelings 2. Khalilah: She seems like she will be a fun party girl, low-key on the drama. 3.... You know what those are the only two I like at this point. I can give you my first impressions on the rest.(Mary) I agree with the fox plant idea. I mean come on: What is wrong with your toes? Mary is either truly ignorant or pushing buttons on purpose. (Neveen) " I just want to find someone fine!" Keep on looking honey because those guys are not looking your way! (Brooke) Who is she? I don't even remember seeing her? (Shawna)She is a fighter. All smug and dirty looks from her. Also I didn't see her crying when everyone else was wipin tears. (Kassie) She will be the gossip queen(also Neveen) Maybe she will break out a guitar and sing everyone to happiness. (craig) he is my vote for first one voted off. Why, you ask? One reason: Scottsdale, Arizona ( Do y'all not remenber Zach from PH, he looked good but was full of s*it.) Plus he had a girlfriend...because if he makes it past episode one he will no longer. For real though how do you go on a show like this, that is never ending with a girlfriend?) (Jordan) I think he is funny, I also think he will go far. But was it rogaine he was spraying? What's up with that? No offense to the rogaine users but would you spray it on your head in front of the world? (Michael) I am not to sure about him. He is good looking but It didn't show tooo much of his personality other then the fact that he was raised respectably not to curse out ignorant young women. On a side note, his toes looked pretty damn good to me. (Matt) Can you say "Dave" obviously his teeth are too big for his ego. His attitude makes you think he doesn;t care and he's concieted and I am not sure why. Good self confidence, but I bet he cries first. Other things that bugged me, is it nessesary to have a big green apple? Are they going to have to lug that thing around? That is tackier then an immunity idol that seperates. What happens if you open the envelope? Do you go home or pay gold coins? How is ther 6 girls and 5 boys and yet a boy is going home first? You know from how I cannot seem to stop typing I think Forever Eden is already hitting me......

Like P-Ho, this show is a waste of time, IMHO. The rules change, nothing means what the producers/host tells you it means, the participants are insipid, ignorant, shallow human beings who look nothing like the vast majority of people in the real world, etc. I could go on, but after seeing this trash and the AJ: Hawaii finale, I am just about fed up with reality TV. Then again, why am I angry? The point is not intellectual stimulation, but ratings. <Yawn> With few exceptions, reality TV is boring me nowadays.

LAST EDITED ON 03-02-04 AT 05:09 PM (EST)Dead on right! Let's face it: Survivor is just about the only Reality show on TV worth our time. Not PH, not AJ2, and *certainly* not Eden! LAST EDITED ON 03-02-04 AT 05:11 PM (EST)I agree with you. Why else would Mary not only be so obnoxious, but also the show be set up so that she becomes the main heavy by sending the first guy home? BTW, this *does* resemble Toni, in my opinion, if not in looks or personality, certainly in the role she plays on the show. But we'll see ... >(Mary) I agree with the fox >plant idea. I mean come >on: What is wrong with >your toes? Mary is either >truly ignorant or pushing buttons >on purpose.

Are they making up the show as they go along? Or are there actual rules?

Yes the sharing rooms made for more interaction between the sexes. This way most of the time the guys are with the guys and the gals are with the gals. I think they needed to let us get to know these people before they started sending them home. They are sending home people we didn't even know yet. I still don't know all their names and yet they are going to keep introducing more people. Maybe they should make them all wear name tags.
