grit 4866 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Stuff Magazine Centerfold" 05-07-09, 11:20 AM (EST) "The final 3" Ho hum. Well, actually this whole season has been kind of ho hum, so why should I expect anything different for the end? Share your thoughts on the final 3. The girls will do their Cover Girl commercials and both Teyona & Allison were shown messing up. Misdirection? Teyona: Not all that pretty in person, looks good with the makeup and clothing. Got a little too confident with all her wins. Doesn't seem to know what to do with her body. Allison: "You're pretty, Tyra." Still comes across as weird, weird, weird. She has a unique look but can't seem to move her body well. Aminat: Great body but doesn't always know what to do with it. Doesn't always give intensity in the face. "RE: The final 3" Well, I'd say that this cast has overall been one of the better seasons. Not spectacular, but solid. If one looks back at the past, there have been some weak models in the final 3 before. I kind of agree that there hasn't been a winner's edit. My belief is that the early seasons were legitimate competitions, but some of the later ones have not been. Nothing could convince me that Saleisha and Whitney weren't plants chosen to win before the filming even started. But maybe this season didn't have a predestined winner. I have to go with Teyona as the winner because: 1. She has now gotten a "wake up call." 2. There hasn't been a black winner in a few seasons. 3. Aminat really looks too much like Dani, except Dani had awesome photos. 4. God, I love Allison and can even seeing her do a decent Cover Girl commercial, but she's not really runway material. DH was watching tv in the bedroom, so I put the living room tv on 'pause' so it would record while I was doing bank statement recons on the computer. Then I'd go in and start 'er up. Celia is so strong and beautiful even with her beautiful hair cropped off. I couldn't understand how she could win the dance competition (or was that a payoff), have a top bird photo and be eliminated? "RE: The final 3" They did say that their decision was a VERY tough one this week and that both girls in the bottom 2 had STRONG performances tis week, but someone had to go. I wanted Celia to win, but I agree with the judges that she should have gone from the group of 4. Oh well, Celia, I had a blast with you this season. You are a winner in my book. Good Luck to you. That aside, I think Tayona (sp?) will most likely win this thing. With Allison joining her in the F2. Amniat, I don't think she makes the last cut. Allison is just to ugly pretty not to make the finals. And she looks YOUNG. It is astonishing how foolish humans can be in groups, especially when they follow their leaders without question - States: The Bene Gesserit View. She's a beautiful girl, but not cut out for modelling, which is a teenager's game. It's sad to say, but weight and age are issues in the field, and it would have been silly for them to go with her to the end, when she wouldn't have had a chance at success (even though she won competitions, on the go sees and the like her feedback was always, "too old"). They let her go as far as she did as a credit to the fact that she is fabulous, despite being too old to model. But it was time for her to go. As for the final 3, I'd love to see Allison win, but I'd put my money on Teyona, unless somehow Allison can pull out a runway walk in the next half an episode! I don't see Aminat winning, she's not photogenic enough (unless she pulls out an amazing photo in the first photo shoot of the next epi).   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Teyona is the front-runner but I've seen from seasons past that sometimes the front-runner doesn't win. They kind of pick the "different" girls. Who would have thought that Whitney would have won. She was in the bottom 2 the most and still won? It could be Allison because she is just so different. I don't like either Aminat or Teyona. They're mouthy and think too highly of themselves. Allison is sweet and she takes awesome photos (now)... the bird photo was great but boy, is she weird!! I just remembered that she is the one who has a fascination with blood... okay.
