Jadens Mommy 333 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Cooking Show Host" 02-02-07, 08:17 PM (EST) "KISS MY FAT A$$" On the Tyra Banks show yesterday, she wore that same bathing suit she wore in Australia and she stood next to that picture they took of her. Clearly the picture was doctored to make her look bigger than she really is. She admits to gaining weight but only 10 pounds over the holidays. She is now 161 which still looks good on her being that she is so tall. She was very upset at the media for attacking her not because of her but because of how it would upset every girl who looks up to her and every woman out there who struggles with weight. The media keeps telling us that if you're not skinny, you're not attractive. After a long speech, she was so upset she said to the media, "Kiss my fat a$$". However, you were probably one of those skinny girls who used to make fun of fat people and now that your fat genes have kicked in you feel all guilty and that's why you are on a mission right? Maybe you even used to tell your own mama that you would never be plus size like her. Well Tyra if Elizabeth Taylor can get fat we all can. In her rant on that show she decided to come out and make this about every other girl / woman in the world except her. The truth of the matter is that she has decided to live her life by placing her impossible airbrush images in the forefront of nearly every media format available at the cost of every girl trying to attain that image. She set this impossible standard for all those girls she is now wanting to come to her aid. If she hadn't perpetuated this false image to the rest of the world she wouldn't be in the position she is in now. Lets call this what it is - "Tyra is upset because someone said something about Tyra" and now she is trying to get every woman in the world in her corner (which is about as hypocritical as it gets) so that no one will continue to say anything negative. I am sure like all of us yes I said all of us, that we mature over time...I am sure TB had her own issues growing up with that huge forehead of hers. In fact it took me awhile to get used to her being a model for that forehead but who am I to judge, obviously others found her quite stunning. When you see pictures of her when she is younger you say how the heck did she grow so attractive? We all have our moments of strength and vulnerability and yes no doubt she may have bashed people in her past I would not know if that is true or not however I do know that with age does come wisdom. I am thinking with her show ANTM she is growing more, getting to see through the girls what she also had to contend with...I am sure ANTM has been very therapeutic for Tb as well. I see nothing wrong with Tb but then I dont look for it either. Tyra could make this a great statement if she actually made sense and didn't contradict herself......why cheer her? First off, Tyra is upset that the media took a picture of her looking "fat" and proved them wrong by coming out in the same exact bathing suit, making it a point to say that while she was on vacation she only gained 10 pounds. Why even defend it? If Tyra truly feels that the media and other outlets put too much impossible expectations on woman being cookie cutter beautiful then why not come out and say so what I got bigger, it happens, why should they care and why is it such an issue? Why not follow that statement with I'm still the same person and ya know what I'm probably more confident in my own skin now than when I was a bean pole, I celebrate my newfound curves and have no shame. That would have been a statement.
