PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

LAST EDITED ON 02-17-04 AT 11:27 AM (EST)> A contract must be made on good faith terms >and understanding of the parties. Not terms not defined >or provided. Have you ever read one of these contracts? They clearly DEFINE that the producers can do pretty much whatever the hell they want with you -- and you agree to it. Here's a link to a Idol contract story: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040115/ap_on_en_tv/music_idol_maker_3 Another section of the "American Idol" contract Fine disclosed described the aggressive image manipulation the performers must agree to, stating that the show "may reveal and/or relate information about me of a personal, private, intimate, surprising, defamatory, disparaging, embarrassing or unfavorable nature, that may be factual and/or fictional."
...and after shows like Joe Millionaire, etc. -- I think it'd be a bigger surprise if she DIDN'T get the money even if the wedding falls apart.
