"Fair challege?"
I thought that last nights challenge was patently unfair. The two teams should have had to compete on level ground. Both teams should have had the same demographic mix and similar traffic flows so we could see how they dealt with similar circumstances. The cultural barrier, as well as what seemed to be a difference in median income, really put the losing team in a big hole to start with. People with less money tend to be less interested in vacations that they can't afford to take (free vacations are never totally free).

It was almost like having two different challenges and seemed really unfair to me. Anybody else think that this was a big set-up?

I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention to realize that the malls were in totally different areas.

If that were the case, then YES, that was a very unfair competition! But, what can you expect from Trump and Trumpette?? Not much fair about him, and don't even think to bring that up in the board room-he'll have nothing of it!

But, in any case, when you go to the Hispanic part of town, it really isn't too difficult to realize you are in a part of town that is primarily Hispanic. It's like being in China Town, and not realizing it. Doesn't make sense, and if they had worked a bit harder on luring those people in, they would have realized the things you just said-income, etc, and really leaned toward making them realize it WAS ALL EXPENSE PAID. If, indeed, it was. If not, let Trump pick up the extras-right??? HA!

I agree that the team missed the boat by not being more bi-ligual friendly. They should have had more translators and a bi-lingual sign-up page. However, it was a challenge that the other team did not have to overcome at all. They could have put the other team in Chinatown, just to make things fair, but to put them in a mall that - to all appearences - looked like it was upscale, white suburban gave them a greater advantage.

On top of that, it looked like their mall had heavier traffic, but that is really hard to tell from the footage. If so, then there was just another blow against Aimee's team.

Aimee was a lousy PM and she probably deserved to be fired, but her team could have won that task (they only lost by 30 people) if the playing field were level.

OMH, PRE and I agree on something.

It makes it even worse when you add in the fact that the Priceline sign up screens were only in English, requiring a translator to sign people up. It's remarkable they only lost by about 30 people. It would be interesting to know if the locations were assigned or chosen by the teams. If it was assigned then they did set up a team to lose, possibly to keep the teams equal.

It did keep up the tendency for the all female team to only win more "male" oriented rewards like Playboy bunnies and basketball and the more "macho" team getting serenaded on the beach and a nice brunch with fruit and pretty flowers.

Oh, yeah. As an Angeleno, let me tell you that Kinetic was sent to nasty, crappy Fox Hills mall. They were doomed, and this show is putrid.

»and this show is putrid«

But how do you really feel about it?

And where was Captain Kirk? How can you advertise Priceline without Captain Kirk? Sheesh.
