PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"BBD2 in the UK" |
Just to let y’all know that BBD2 fever spread to the UK, and we just finished watching the finale that aired last night (it airs at an even worse time over here 0100). Big kudos to Exodus for riding out a deserved victory, and commiserations to Cake for coming up short. Myself and some other football (not soccer) crazed UK based fans usually find ourselves out in the US every fall, racing round different NFL and college campuses taking in games. That’s pretty knackering in itself – God knows what it’s like without good food or a good bed! One year we were shooting a video diary for a UK TV station, and since we had no accreditation we had to beg a few favours from some NFL teams. Most of time it went OK, however there was one notable exception that seemed to ring true in BBD2 – Chicago! Enjoyed reading the contestants posts here – offers a lot of extra insight that isn’t obvious due to the editing. Keep up the good work! One thing I wondered though, were there any rides the teams couldn't take because of the requirement to fit 5 people in rather than just 4 since the producer always had to be there? Preston

Hey Preston - ya know - we were extremely lucky in our methods of transportation. To review: Jeep Cherokee Private Jet Jeep Cherokee again.. Land Rover Chevy Tahoe Hyundai Santa Fe Mercedes (not shown) Toyota Land Crusier Hummer Jeep Liberty Chevy Blazer things just worked out. There were a couple times (one in Chicago) that we were all crammed in a ford escort - but it was only for a 10 minute ride...we got pretty damn lucky - glad you dig the show greg

actuallt - we did have a stretch limo ride. THe Maloof brothers had a stretch navigator waiting at the airpoet to take us to a hotel....woops, forgot about that! The ice fishing task was on the list only because the show was originally supposed to end in Alaska. At the last minute, the show organizers changed the final destination to Mt. Rushmore...I guess Canada is a bigger barrier for stuff like this than initially thought. The Diamondbacks task -- though cool, would've taken us way off course, you're right. But who the hell thought we could do a task in California and still win the game? As far as other tasks go - man, just look at the list. Every one is unique and challenging and would've been great to do. Taking the field during batting practice was one that I wanted to do...fly fishing with an NFL all-pro very cool idea as well. Tough to say what else - they all would've been great to try. g

travelingbetty - I think you've misunderstood my comment but sorry if you took offense! I love the Windy City and have had good times there both times I've been. What I was trying to say in my post, what that the only trouble we had when we had to blag our way past security with cameras and stuff, was at the Bears game. No big deal, but the incident came to mind when Cake were having their struggles at Wrigley!

In BB&D Classic, Team Cobi threw out the first pitch at a White Sox game and sung the national anthem at Miller Park, in Milwaukee. They didn't do anything with the Cubs.
