shakes the clown 3366 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Car Show Celebrity" 08-07-03, 08:39 PM (EST) "Cmon Greg...." ....take the ball to the friggen hole on game point you big wuss Seriously though, despite the fact that you come from the athletically challenged state of Wisconsin, you look like you've played some ball in your time. With that said, I don't need to tell you that the first thing to go when you get tired is your legs so what the hell were you thinking taking two stupid looking turn around fade aways on game point???? Only one person in the world can make that shot at the end of a game and he just retired(again). You clearly had a step on the big girl so you should've either put your head down and gone strong to the rim, or crossed her over and blown by her for the easy layup....or, if you really wanted to take the shot at least face up to the defender, fake the drive to get some space and then take a simple 8 footer. As big as she is, I imagine she was a little tired as well so she was probably already playing defense on her heels...a simple dribble fake and she probably would've fallen over backwards over the baseline. I got by her twice - once to the left and once to the right. After that, she backed off a little...which is good for me because I'm a deadly shooter - however, I'm not deadly when I'm shooting a grapefruit! That fricken ball is small! You're right when you say the first things to go are your legs - so an outside jumper is no good, blowing by her isn't going to happen because she's playing off and expecting me to do it. SO I backed her down a little and did a short turn around. The first one was dead on - good lift, body square, good rotation, but I was just short. The second attempt was just brutal - I donno what the hell I was thinking...we were both pretty gassed. I tried man, but it's not easy sleeping on floors for 8 nights, cramming yourself in a car for 6 hours a day and then being asked to run with an all-star. basketbll 101 is how I got ahead of her 6-5, body rigamortis 101 is how I lost. greg   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

No one else shares in his sarcasm. She was HUGE by the way! could you imagine me against her? haha. It would take the duration of the whole competition for me to even get 7 baskets.
