"Harlemm got the shaft" |
Not too long ago, Harlemm made an appearance in San Diego. I was there, but by luck. If I had not been flipping the channels, I would have missed him on a local news channel. Do you want to know where he ended up performing that night.....at a bookstore. It does not seem fair that after paying his dues on the show, he still has to pay his dues by performing at two bit places like a bookstore. Granted, Borders is wonderful for sponsoring the event, but Harlemm should really be performing in some big arena. Unfortunately, according to him, he is not able to get national publicity. The media does not want to promote him. What a shame of an amazing talent.
BTW, he was as gracious in person as he was in the show.
Everyone, please request his music on your local radio stations, and please write to the TV talk shows requesting to see him. He told us that his CD was sent out to all of the radio stations and no one wanted to play his music. What a shame. If you believe in Harlemm, please support him.
