PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Even though the normal site response to blog promotion comes down to 'ready, aim, fire' with an option to switch the word order, I'm not going to alert this post. LCS has been accused of playing audition games before this, and this is a firsthand look into the potential rigging of the current audition process. As the author noted, the anger has been flying since the second season. (The incident: the show's assigned judges at the semifinals found their choices overridden in the name of production's quotas. And walked out.)I can't speak to the casting agency accusation without knowing who each comedian is signed with, but at this point, very little would surprise me about this show's machinations. As was also noted, at least most AI contestants see someone. Many of them are shunted through just for the sake of humiliation -- but hey, at least they got a supposedly-human being to make that decision. For the LCS people, this is a rotten way to run a railroad -- but a really effective method of tying yourself to the tracks.
