TooWee 15 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Got Milk? Spokesperson" 08-24-04, 00:22 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Real Comedy" Hi There, I read your expose` regarding LCS and I have a question. Why are you so upset that NBC is putting together a show to make money? ALL TV is put together to make money for the stations/networks. We the audience are more comsumers than an audience and I doubt many people fail to realize that when they sit down to watch a show. If the show sells ads and is profitable - it stays on the air, and if it fails (The Casino) they rush the run and try again. I know they didn't choose all the most talented comics for the house in either LSC 1 or 2. But as Todd Glass said when asked during auditions if he gets on peoples nervesparaphrasing) "I do, and that would be good in the house" Also, I don't know that many folks really believe that all the reality shows are 100% real (sorry to burst your bubble you true believers). All the editing and casting is done to make an entertaining show and sell ads. I don't intend to make this sound like I am throwing any criticism your way as that is not my style and it is prohibited on this board. Even if we rant and rave about RTV shows being "fair" or "rigged" or even true to life, we still seem to watch. I know I do, and with the exception of a couple of those rediculous ones, PH..FE..LC, which I watched a little of and then quit, I'll keep on watching. I'm hooked, and part of what I love is the ranting and raving about the unfairness, etc. I'm hopeless, I know and need a life, but for now....bring em on. P.S.
