After tonight's episode I can't help but to once again come to Beth's defense, even more so than before. I know some of you may be growing tired of this as it's obvious that Beth is such a b!tch and most wonder why would anyone in their right mind want to defend someone of her nature, but what it all comes down to is the fact that Beth is a human being and no human being deserves to be bullied even if they have a past of being a difficult person. What really bothered me tonight was the ridiculous spite coming from the mouths of some of the veterans because Beth was unable to make it through the tires. I couldn't believe it when David actually said that Beth threw yet another challenge and further went on to actually say that it was her fault for their loss at the rope challenge where they had to depend on their partners weight to make it across. From what I have seen, Beth has put in alot of effort into being an asset for her team and has proven herself to be one of the stronger females on her team. Not only has she given alot of effort during female gauntlets but she has done just as well during male gauntlets. So what she has come across a couple of challenges that she just wasn't good at. Where was the hissy fit when Robin decided to walk most of her way around the track during the pulling challenge? And by the way David your whole team lost that challenge as none of you were capable of making it across with your partners, in fact you made it no further than Beth and Timmy. In my opinion, this whole talk of Beth can't expect respect she has to earn it is absolute crap. If trying your best at challenges and being one of the strongest females on the team hasn't gotten a tad bit of their respect than nothing she does is going to get it from them. Beth has also proven herself to be a bit more tame and civilized than she has in the past. Yes, she hasn't been completely perfect and has talked some crap about people but who on this show really hasn't. Bullying is bullying and it's wrong, even if it's towards someone with a b!tchy reputation. As far as the rest of the show, well it was uneventful. The only thing that I could find to comment on was the absolute crap coming from David's mouth, but then again he really seems to have a niche for drama and a bad case of diarhea of the mouth.

People started in with the Beth complaints as soon as she walked in the door. Nobody seemed to give her a chance. But did she deserve another chance? These people have known each other for years and are like a huge dysfunctional family. Many families have one person that you can never count on and always stirs up trouble. For a long time, that has been Beth. Now I remember Beth from the old days on Real World. Nobody seemed to like her then. But I didn't start watching the challenges until the last couple of years and did not see all that Beth has done in the past. Did they give her a few chances? I don't know. But I'm guessing, like that one family member, they got tired of her always causing trouble and just gave up on her. It seems at this point Beth would have to do quite a bit to redeem herself. Winning a few challenges won't do it. But I'm not so sure Beth doesn't like being the outcast. If she putting on a brave front? My guess is she's just evil. Beth doesn't annoy me as much as Veronica and Rachel do, but I am so tired of hearing about her every week. The only thing we ever hear from the Veterans is Beth and everyone else complaining about her. Speaking of Tonya, I thought it was so mean how those other witches ganged up on her last season. But I don't think everyone has a problem with Tonya like they do with Beth. We'll see on the next challenge when Rachel and Veronica aren't around. Her and Coral get along, don't they? Can someone tell me if Julie was once the outcast? For some reason I keep confusing her with Beth. Julie seems like a good competitor. Was she always that way? Is she liked by the others? She is the one that tried to unhook Veronica on the one challenge, right? I think that's the first challenge I watched. Gotta love her for that.

I loved the comment David made about Beth calling her "Bethasaurus." I miss Syrus. He always had some funny sayings. Beth always has the damn smirk on her face like she is up to something.

Well, as far as not sabotaging the team during challenges, I feel that's being respectful of the team. As far as on a personal level, probably not. But I heard once that even if someone is difficult and a complete jerk if you want them to see the light and respect you then you have to give them respect as well, because if you don't then it will end up being a never ending battle and nothing will be accomplished. It really wouldn't hurt for the veterans to give a little as far as not accussing her of sabotaging when she messes up. If they do give a little and she continues to act b!tchy then they did the mature thing and have every right to cut her off of the team or whatever they choose. My point is more coming from a team basis opposed to a social/personal basis. Plus, I don't think it's right that some of the veteran guys who were willing to make an alliance with some of the rookie girls to sabotage their team have any right to make the comments they do, it's hypocritical. Honestly, the Beth bashing was at a very low level in the beginning and then it seemed to really heighten with the men when the whole alliance thing seemed to come out, maybe they are using it as a deversion to their guilt? Or just a coincidence.
