"The "problem" with the voting"
Sorry if this has been discussed before...

Whether the producers had this in mind or not, the voting procedure: voting FOR your "favorite" guy, promotes the "Why are Robert and Ken still here?" sort-of situation.

The middle-of-the-pack guys will get very few votes, while the top-of-the-pack guys and the "let's keep Robert... he's funny" or "let's keep Ken cuz I feel sorry for him" will get the most votes.

So expect more middle-of-the-pack guys to go packing, while Robert & Ken (more likely Robert) will be around for a few more weeks for sure. Renda, Joe & Evan are most likely to go next week.

So, my question is: Did the producers want this from the beginning? Or was this just a mistake in planning?

I agree with you completely...maybe some people also misunderstand the vote- whether it's to keep someone on or eliminate them. I f someone is not too intelligent (am trying to "be nice"), then maybe they aren't voting correctly.

Also,as I replied on one of the other Robert threads, in the NYC area, CBS chose to air a Yankee game 2 weeks in a row, and Cupid was not on until 1:15 am (and one of those weeks, they put the show on right after the game, even though they said it was going to be on at 1:15)- so New York was totally not able to vote/watch the show for 2 weeks straight!!
That's alot of votes one way or the other (and frustrating!).

It was planned. Still think there should or will be an out. If Lisa just refuses to go on anymore dates with someone because she tells them the guy gives her the creeps or that she wouldn't marry so-so for all the money in the world. I think that happened with Scott - he was not a middle of the pack kinda guy like the rest of the trends are showing. The producers would agree and boot Scott because he was creepy but also not entertaining like Robert. Whether they'd do it with Robert may be a different story.

I'm at a point now where I don't find Robert entertaining at all, just pathetic and creepy.

To me

Pathetic and creepy = entertaining!

That's why I love Freddy Kruger movies!

Geez, no wonder the New York guys got such low votes! All those people would have voted for Paul and Renda!!
