djk 276 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Network TV Show Guest Star" 08-08-03, 11:39 AM (EST) "Let's hear your opinions...rank the final 9!" I want to hear your opinions on the final 9! Who do you think is best for Lisa, why do you like, dislike them. Rank them and tell us what your thoughts are! The remaining contestants are: Dominic Evan Hank Joe Ken Paul Renda Robert Scott My list: 1. Hank - He is the best. Smart, cute, down to earth, fun, what is there not to like. My husband thinks Hank is smart for not kissing her. He claims "you always want what you can't have." I am not sure I agree, she might start thinking he really doesn't like her! 2. Paul - I would never pick Paul for myself, but I think he is a good match for Lisa. Big city type, and creative. 3. Dominic - He is good looking, can have fun, but I wonder if he might be too much of a party boy to settle down and get married. She seems to like him a lot! 4. Joe - Okay, well looks wise I can't see them together, but they get a long so well, and have a lot in common. 5. Evan - He is in my opinion the best looking, he also seems like a lot of fun! If I were Lisa, my concern would be that he would continually be flirting with other women, married or not!! 6. Ken - I think Ken is a great catch, but I am not sure I think he is a good catch for Lisa. Although sometimes opposites do attract! 7. Renda - They seem to enjoy each others company because they both write and can have fun, but I just don't see these two married. Renda seems like he just likes taking things easy and not taking life too seriously. 8. Robert - Crazy, that is what I think of when I see this guy! He is very entertaining, but to marry him, the guy would drive you nuts!! 9. Scott - I never understood why Scott was still there and after last week I am just so creeped out! Here's my picks: 1. Hank ~ What a guy....I think he would truly respect her and they could have a good marriage. He seems to have the same kind of family values she has, and they are adorable together. 2. Hank ~ LOL, he's really my top 5! LOL. Okay, if I must give another of the guys a chance: 2. Joe ~ I agree that they don't quite look right together ~ but ~ I think he would be a loving, attentive husband to her and could be trusted not to break her heart. And she has fun with him! 3. Dominic ~ He's gorgeous, and he'll probably make a good husband someday, but I don't think he's ready for marriage. He might make a good boyfriend right now, but he's years away from being a good husband. I hate to say it, but he still seems a bit boyish to me ~ knowing how to kiss does not a man make! 4. Ken ~ I can't believe I am placing Ken this high, really. He may be a snoozefest, but I think he might actually be in this for the right reasons. If he isn't, then he hides it better than some others. 5. Evan ~ Don't trust him....don't want him to win.....want them to keep the cameras rolling so we can see if he asks the female crew members to sit on his lap while Lisa is in the restroom! If he wins, I see heartbreak in Lisa's future...I think he's a cad. 6. Paul ~ Another one I'm still not totally trusting. I think it's a little too coincidental that he has some play opening soon....I suspect he's in the game to get free advertising. He's too smooth, and knows exactly what line to throw. I don't see him as a family man with a bunch of kids. 7. Renda ~ He has no job and he needs a haircut. Lisa doesn't need a hubby that's going to freeload. 8. Robert ~ His bizarre behavior and antics are convincing me more and more that he is in this so he can be on tv. 9. Scott ~ I would have placed him a bit higher prior to Tuesday's show, but now....ewwwwwww! Hank - She seems to have already picked him just from what she says to him. 2. Dominic - He has his stuff together. 3. Paul - Nice guy but not sure if he is her type. 4. Joe - Nice guy, but he seems a little bit hung up with the money thing. Cheated on the first date and went looking at expensive homes on the second one. 5. Ken - Ken seems like a nice guy. Just not clicking with Lisa. 6. Renda - This guy needs to get a job. Definitely not husband material for the serious person. 7. Evan - This guy is a player. He is in it for himself and thats it. 8. Joe Notice how the guys that Lisa likes in the middle have the least chance. it's because they don't stand out to those that think she's be good for her and they will not pick up any 'joke' votes either. He's cute, seems to have a great personality and fits well with Lisa. 2. Dominic - I like him! He's gorgeous, she likes him...I think though that he might not be ready to make a long time commitment by getting married because he is young and still at the age where he's playing the field to find out what he wants, but other than that, I really like him! 3. Evan - I also think that he has good chemistry with Lisa. He looks good and confident...maybe looks a bit playerish but who knows? Maybe he's ready to make a commitment to Lisa if he is the one chosen by America?!?!? 4. Paul - Seems to get along pretty well with Lisa...she seems to like him...why not? 5. Renda - I could see them together but then again, maybe not...they seem to have something that might not work. 6. Ken - Good looking, fine to me but not the right guy for Lisa...too forceful maybe? 7. Joe - He's okay...seems fine for Lisa but not too sure yet... 8. Robert - I can't stand him...he's annoying I think...but I don't mind his accent. 9. That is the only way to explain why someone like Rob went last week instead of Robert. (here goes)" i am michael leicht,29, college grad and moved to sacramento california 4 years ago.....i work for SBC, so what do I know right? jusk kidding. i think lisa adorable, and very witty. she has a smile that can melt butter in alaska on a freezing day, so count out dominic, joe, rob from "hermosa", scott, robert "the gay trainer", and ken. if i were there i would be sweatting bullets!!! having to look at lisa daily can really make a man blush with inner curisoity. so far, lisa has her eyes on hank, and evan, and brian will drop before those two. does it matter who she pick???? NO ONE have you look at the field of which she has to choose from? i would rather kiss dirt!!! Like Wacko Jacko, I'm going to do two lists. First list, The guys as I think she likes them: 1. Hank 2. Dominic 3. Evan 4. Paul 5. Joe 6. Renda 7. Ken 8. Robert 9. Scott CBS would really like this show to end with a "live" wedding. Lisa seems ready to just do it if the guy is acceptable. IMO, if future dates go well, she would marry any of the top 3 in my second list. This is how I think they will finish. 1. Hank 2. Dominic 3. Paul 4. Evan 5. Robert 6. Scott 7. Ken 8. Renda 9. Joe I think Paul is a self-promoter but she is charmed by him. Evan is a player. Robert & Scott she would never consider, but they will pull in the contrairian votes for a while. Ken a nice guy, but so far too dull for her. Renda is benignly bizarre, and Joe is just little too mainstream & eager. I'm wondering if CBS's system will accept multiple votes for the same guy from the same number. Next week I will try voting for Hank (or whoever) twice and see if I just get the same thank you message. You have it reversed. I probably agree with you more. I debated that one over and over. As for how they will finish we are exact. Joe will be going this week. Also think possibly Ken might go earlier. he was in the bottom two last week. That is not a good sign. So he could possibly go sooner. But Joe, Renda and Ken will be the first three the order may change depending on where Ken goes. Hank - by far the best of the bunch. He's simply adorable. He's down to earth, knows how to treat a woman, and really seems to be in this thing for the right reasons. It also helps that they really make a cute couple when they are together. 2. Joe - Awww, he's like a roly-poly teddy bear. I think that he would kiss the ground that Lisa walked on, and they do seem to be very comfortable together. 3. Dominic - he's a hottie for sure, and seems to have a great deal of self-confidence (without being arrogant). However, I agree with what just about everyone else has said above, he does seem a bit too young to get married... 4. Ken - okay, so he's a bit on the boring side, but he's easy on the eye, mature, and seems to be a nice person. He also has a job which would provide enough financial security to allow him to get married, unlike some of the others who follow. 5. Evan - I wouldn't trust this guy for a minute. I think he's a slick little weasel who can turn on and off the charm in a blink of an eye. Still, he's better than those that follow... 6. Renda - street-hustler/poet....what in the world could Lisa be thinking??? She would end up supporting this guy for the one year that their marriage would last. He needs to get a haircut and get a real job. 7. Paul - One word, rhymes with baloney and starts with a "P"! This guy just sends out major-league creep vibes. Less "sensitive artist" than dime-store hustler IMHO. In fact, a guy who could have been his long-lost twin right down to the groovy eye-apparal approached me yesterday when I was coming out of the Rite-Aid to beg change. Seems he needed to collect money to buy a patch for his bike tire (he was biking cross-country, or so it seemed, although said bike was nowhere in sight). He also tried to bum a smoke from me........... 8. Scott - Early on, I thought he had a great sense of humor, but how cringe-worthy was his last date?? 9. Robert - Ahnold he is not.
