What is it about Amy that everyone is willing to take themselves out of the quest for the ultimate reward? I mean they are all willing to kick themselves off rather than her....I don't see it do you?

I am just dumbfounded that after Amy's 1st outbreak against Keith, she is still there. She has another thing coming to her if she doesn't think she is going to get some slack from People once the show is over.....I wonder if her and braveheart are together

Regarding Desiree comment: I know! Desiree is so stupid... And I think that tonight's episode had a clear fear of rejection theme: first Amy decides she would rather go than let one of her friends go; then Melanie chooses Dave; and Desiree takes a bullet for Amy; and Holly finishes it off with her insecurity about her relationship with Scott. BTW, I'm not sure, but did Scott say something to Holly like, "our 'relationship,' if you can call it that"?

I totally agree with you guys! I was glad Des was kicked off, because she was being a kiss ass!! If she really wanted to win she would've stayed on and let Melanie choose.

Seeing that Scott does not show favortism to either side might be the biggest clue to his character. Not willing to state his feelings clearly he would rather give clues to what he is really thinking. With this in mind perhaps his preference in partners is as guarded as what is behind his forehead. This might be in line with "something ain't right with the boy". Shakes the Clown may have something there after all.

Maybe LAmy and Zach-A$$ have threatened all their "trustworthy" friends that sided with them? Maybe they found bloody headbands in their bed the day of elimination???

21. "Editing" |
It is all about the editing. The poster known as true stated in the spoiler thread that the producers are swinging this show to an outcome that they desire. The originals are continually edited as the "bad" guys while the Barbie group is edited as "saintly". The catch to that though is the fact that the originals such as Zach, Amy and Foni have given them sooooo much material to work with. Amy and Zach most certainly have some serious life problems that will need to be resolved once in the real world. The only glimmer of nicness that I saw in Amy was while she was talking to Melanie about Scott. BUT I think the producers wanted us to see more of Melanie because she was the one going home. Their intention was not to soften us to Amy. My opinion of Desiree from the start was that she was just a follower with no clue about anything. She just went along with the "cool" group, more than likely, because she is a lemming in real life as well. As someone stated previously, Amy must be extremely intimidating in person. I truly cannot understand why people keep "sacrificing" themselves for her. We are being set up for a Charla and Dave win. The editing has been so clearly towards their favor it is almost sickening to watch.

24. "RE: What is it about Amy?" |
My biggest laugh was at the end when Amy says something like "It's always the good ones that have to leave" (fake cry) - Well, Amy, if you are still on the show, what does that say about you?The vote off seems to go in a predictable format of someone willing to take a bullet for Amy, because she has been through so much, then Amy acts like she might leave but stays quiet when push comes to shove. If Amy does ever leave, I predict her goodbye speech will be something like "I'm already a winner because of how I played the game and all the friends I have. I've done so much more than anyone in the world ever has. I'll see everyone next year at Paradise Hotel II." I see Amy having a reality that's similar to the Anna Nicole Smith reality show - Very sad with no clue to reality. Tony
