"PH: the Right 'Favours'" |
Hi all. This post is a look at the major game twists and which group they favored. The 1st 2 weeks everyone was new enough that no definite groups were apparent. Charla got the 1st immunity twist, but everyone was still new and original and no group was favored. Newbie Dave got an immediate roommate pick , but all was still new and no groups to favour. The next 2 weeks had originals clique and the only twist the newbies got was a 1st night roommate pick. But without immunity from elimination, the new guests Kavita and Matt stood little chance. This favored the originals. New Tara was given immunity from the elimination and kicking off power. This twist was meant to favor the newbies, but she chose to help the orginals and kicked off Amanda. Keith's ditto twist favored the newbies, and he used it correctly by kicking off Zack. All current newbies + Charla became the Barbie group. Holly's immunity again favored a newbie (her) remaining. Toni was gone. The next week the twist, casino night, doesn't favour any group as it's all fair play (well, except for Alex cheating!). Dave ends up as casino man (eventually) and kicks off Beau. The King and Queen elections are fair play again, and don't favour any group. Dave and Tara win and kick off Kristin and almost drive Amy off as a bonus! The next week saw an immunity vote, which was fair play again. Scott won and Alex was voted off. The return of the former guests favored the originals, as the bitter mob terrorized the Barbies. Clearly, producers knew who these terrorists would favour. Voting 2 former guests back favored the originals as odds were against a barbie-friend rejoining. Both Beau and Melanie were given exclusive roommate picks. This seemed to favour the originals, but since it wasn't an elimination round, the speculation lies with Tom sending Desiree to the solo room. Way below, is a recap of the twists, who the producers favored, and who it (in)directly helped. Pardon the table being so down. I had alot of HTML trouble.
# | Twist | Favoured | Helped | 1 | Charla excl. 1st pick | - | - | 2 | Newbie 1st day pick | - | - | 3 | Newbie 1st day pick | Originals | Originals | 4 | Newbie 1st day pick | Originals | Originals | 5 | Newbie excl. last pick | Newbies | Originals | 6 | Newbie excl. last pick | Newbies | Barbies | 7 | Newbie excl. 1st pick | Newbies | Barbies | 8 | Casino kick-off | - | Barbies | 9 | King & Queen | - | Barbies | 10 | Immunity vote | - | Barbies | 11 | Returning former guests | Originals | Originals | 12 | 2 former guests Voted on | Originals | Originals | 13 | 2 former guests excl.1st picks | ? | ? |
Now that everyone is playing the game, I don't think the producers can favour any group 3 weeks in a row. So I think next week's twist will have to favour the Barbies.

Unfortunately I have to agree that it looks like the origihos will get the twist in their favor this week...although it would be so awesome to see the Barbies get it and one of them get revenge. Get rid of Beau!!!!!!!!! Maybe getting rid of him will finally push Acme off the edge and she will finally live up to those "threats" of leaving and pack her bags and say happy trails!

Thanks jkokoj...I think Keith may be on his way out too... I had to stop and think way too much though but wouldn't it be an eerie coincidence if Keith does go home this week after being sick for a while. Not to be a cospiracy theorist or anything but it would just seem convient especially if he really needed to get home to see a doctor. Ok someone musta been smoking something nearby cause listening to myself, even I think I must be High....LOL

This theory fit in quite nicely tonight. The producers had to know that Tom, as odd man out was going to be going. They knew he would go for either Keith or Dave. Then one of them would take out an original.I get a feeling that we will see a final of Tara/Keith and Amy/Scott. It looks like Scott is ready to dump Holly. I think the producers will cook up a way for Dave and Charla to be gone, leaving that final foursome.

>This theory fit in quite nicely >tonight. The producers had >to know that Tom, as >odd man out was going >to be going. They >knew he would go for >either Keith or Dave. >Then one of them would >take out an original. > Yes, I believe you're right. To sum up where the table left off (see 1st post): 13. The 2 returning originals' excl. picks didn't have any consequence as Tom strategically giving Desiree the lone room didn't give her any power. This left Melanie out in a regular elimination, which is something the producers counted on. Favored: Barbies, Helped: Barbies 14. They also knew Melanie would probably put Amy, Des, or Holly as an ally, which she'd have to eliminate. Favored: Barbies, Helped: Barbies 15. As LadyT noted, they knew Tom would be out in a regular elimination. Favored: Barbies, Helped: Barbies 16. They counted on tricking Tom into choosing a 'Barbie Ken' to kick off an original. He could have picked up on the wording "Who do you THINK should go", and choose an ally, but they knew it didn't work when he figured the same with Desiree, so it was unlikely he would take the chance by guessing their power scheme. Favored: Barbies, Helped: Barbies So with that, we can see a HEAVY facoring of the Barbies. I would think next week they have to favor the Orginals, but they might just make some kind of contest (like casino night) just to favor no group and give everyone a chance. -jl "And that's all he wrote!"
