"Joe Mill Ep 3 best/worst lines" |
Warning: this post talks about tonight's show, but for those not on EST, I'll try to waste some space here so I don't give anything away (and I won't give away the end just in case). We heard some great lame-oid lines tonight, from the gals as well as from Joe. Any favorites? I particularly liked MoJo's discussion about women with hats -- it shows they're confident, that they don't need to hide. WTF??? Her big floppy hats hide her face half the time, not to mention slapping Evan upside the head every time he tried to talk to her at the Moulin Rouge. Runner up: Zora's saying "I don't want to talk about that" when she clearly didn't want to talk about freakin' anything. ~~ waterbug ~~

The "hat=confidence" theory Mojo threw out was one of the best lines I have ever heard! I am just shocked the Parisian fashion police did not have her arrested, in France hats are worn for Easter church services and deer hunting with visiting dignitaries. Exceptions made for berets, which can be worn at anytime except Easter church services and deer hunting. Berets must be worn by men born in 1920 or earlier. As far as funny lines, there were many, and a lot of them were in the way they were edited, in a "he said, she said" fashion. I liked Allyson being described as "sophisticated" and wearing a light blue 3/4 coat over a mid-calf red skirt in the next shot. I loved the reassuring "Trust us" to Mojo by others when she modeled the hat. Classic! One word of advice to all men. Do not ever buy a woman shoes!!! Sara was gracious in pretending she liked the "strappy things" (that was a good line) Evan picked out. She HATED them! I hated them! Imelda Marcos wouldn't have given them a second look! I don't care how much he paid for them, those were the most butt ugly shoes to ever make prime time!

LAST EDITED ON 01-21-03 AT 02:48 PM (EST)Personally, I liked the Melissa M. mumbo jumbo about the painting. Evan "She loved it" Mellissa M "I hate it. I look like I have big buck teeth" (Exactly what I thought) Oh, and I also liked the Evan bulldozer slip with Zora. Lucky for him, her conversation brain waves didn't pick up on that either.
Edited to ad the slip . . .

1. All of Evan's references to the River "Sane" made me cringe.2. The bulldozer comment cracked me up. I'm sure Zora caught on. "So, how long has it been?" "D-uh, well, two years but it *seems* like three weeks."

Lol! For a brief moment when he popped the cork on the boat, I could have sworn it was a plastic cork! Andre's, ya all!
