With all the rumors flying around Evan, I thought you peeps might wnjoy reading this, it's quite funny I think. Anyway, it appears to be an article from some internet gossip column or something. real job: is he a construction worker or an underwear model or... a
gay escort? Many of the print and broadcast tabloids, as well as "People Magazine"
and "Entertainment Weekly," have been flooded with calls since the
show premiered on Monday from gay men on the West Coast who say
they've retained Joe's services as a male prostitute. And today, the letters started arriving at the tabloids and magazines
with clippings from back issues of a gay escort rag, published by "The
Advocate," with ads featuring "intimate massages" offered by a man who
looks exactly like Joe Millionaire with a Dana Point telephone number.
(For those who want to try the #, it has now been disconnected.) For those not in the know, the alleged $19-thou-a-year "construction
worker" lives in Dana Point, one of the most exclusive suburbs in
ritzy Orange County, south of Los Angeles, and owns a Porsche. It
doesn't take a genius to figure out that someone who makes $19-thou a
year can't afford to live in Dana Point and drive a Porsche. Perhaps
it's more like Joe makes $19-thou a month. The Fox network is elated about the show's high ratings but also has
been in a spin crisis since it was revealed that Joe made his living
as an underwear model in catalogs and websites catering to gay men,
and only moonlighted on occasion as a "construction worker." The
network now is in a panic, realizing all too late that many male
"models" use modeling as a cover, when they're really gay escorts. A friend inside Fox told me this morning that PAs at the network have
been sent all over town to buy gay porn magazines to search for other
ads with pictures that look like Joe. Why? If the story goes wide, the
network wants to be prepared. "The network's PR line will be," my friend says, "just because you
give a massage doesn't mean you're a prostitute." Right. Sure. If you believe that, I'd like to show you something in a

I'm not buying the $19,000 a year construction job, BUT the story about the male escort is questionable. There have been many models, male and female, who have found their pictures next to advertisements for escorts, massages, mail order brides and what not, in those rags. When you are selling an "escort", are you going to put Mary-Peach's toothless grin and dimpled cellulite thighs in there or just lift a cuter model's pic and use that?The article also says they sent PAs out to retrieve pictures that LOOKED like Joe/Evan and the massages are given by a look alike as well. Oh hell, it's a funny article anyways. I think he's too lazy to be an escort.

Well Well Well, Katem. Do you think this is true? I think there are distinct possibilities to this, but I also don't think he is "gay". Maybe very very "gay" friendly, :0). I can see how he could make a bunch of money this way, he is big, blue-collar-ish, construction type. Does he do theame escorts, LOL?and by the way... He answered "no". Then she said something like, "but you modeled underwear in gay magazines and photos of you are supposedly very popular in the gay community just now." He said, "Well, if gay people want to enjoy my picture and get off on it--more power to 'em. It doesn't matter to me." LMAO on the Does he do theme escorts? comment, Q. Wasn't there a story that the first Bachelor was gay? Whatever happened to that? More to the point, how can reality shows, which surely must include some gay people on their staff, mistakenly cast a gay guy to be a female heart-throb twice? It just seems wierd. (I'm not talking about a gay actor portraying a straight man. That's acting. I mean somebody pretending their actual self is something it is not.)
