Good evening. Here I am to answer your call: I am fervently hoping that NBC has given Rob Campos a chance to face his detractors, in order set the record straight regarding the gratuitous and malign treatment he was subjected to during FLOM#1. Not that he was completly free of guilt in some instances. His greatest mistake was that he agreed to take part with the show. Another, was to chose Ms. Brodie while he truly cared for another. He was inept appearing before cameras and Paige rightly explained " I think Rob's problem was that he was really uncomfortable around the cameras. I mean, we were around the cameras 24 hours a day and got used to them being around, but Rob was at a hotel down the street and only on camra a few hours a day.....He never really relaxed with the cameras following him around whenever he was with us." As far as the boots, hot tub and JAGG incidents, at 78 years of age I still don't understand all the raucous raised. Especially the last one mentioned. My husband spent 30 years on active duty and we take the complaint of that female officer with dubious attention. Please, for the remainder of FLOM#2, give the man a break. The outcome of it might take you completely by surprise. Enjoy. E.J.H.

My DISH Network receiver stopped recording when the last elimination was about to be made. Who got canned Chad or Vic? Now, can you give me a blow by blow of the previews? Obviously they weren't recorded either. Thanks. (c) 2002, 03 GeorgiaBelle Creations, Inc. All rights reserved

>Probably because once again, the show >went 5 minutes over. Chad >got booted...Erin said that they >were too similiar and that >she goes for guys who >are different than her. WOW !!!!! Chad got booted? I could have sworn she liked him and that she was spooked by Vic's lack of charisma. I'm rooting for blonde Chad anyway. He's yummers. >The previews looked pretty good. >Rob has crawled out from >under his rock and is >on next week's show but >not sure why. They >also offer money to someone >to leave and they actually >take it and go. >Didn't show who it was >though and I don't think >they said how much it >took! If Vic is smart, and that is doubtful, he will take the money and run. Can't wait for Jeepers Creepers to return (c) 2002, 03 GeorgiaBelle Creations, Inc. All rights reserved

My theory - here goes. NBC wants to make sure they will not have to pay out Erin the $2mil. They cleverly convinced her to give up her first $1mil with enticements of double or nothing.Firstly, they (NBC)want to "use" the "I'll take the money and run" group of men by offering money to go before being eliminated. Hence, the twist next week. Then Rob shows up in 2 weeks time and disenchants those hardy souls who might choose Erin over the money by telling them about Erin's having been there before (which means she has been lying to them) and that her motiviation is money and not love, i.e. she gets $2mil for whomever she chooses and they only get $1mil (remember at this point the men still think they get Erin and the money). The men cannot tell Erin they know. Those who "might have" chosen Erin now know that she lied to them and that she is using their possible affection to get twice as much money as they will get - money grabber Erin. I understand from another site that when Rob shows up in 2 weeks time there will not be an elimination that night (check out NBC FLOM2 website). By the time the remaining 4 are whittled down to 3 and then 2 when they are told about the choice of Erin or money - no contest. The money wins and Erin gets her consolation prize. NBC just saved having to pay out $2mil and kept their ratings up over the summer with minimal payout. Whaddya think??

I'm afraid I cannot agree with East Coast Girl here. I do not believe that NBC would tell the guys about Erin's prize. If they did, the guy would know (or figure out) that by choosing her (over the money), he gets to share the money!!!Not that I'm a Conspiracy Theorist or anything , but I'll give this one a shot. Occam's Razor - let's get simple about this. Rob is simply there to be the one to offer the money to the guys, money that one of them takes. He may also be the one to tell them that it's love OR money (they may tell them earlier than they told the girls in FLOM1). I just don't think Rob's role is a big, earthshaking one. Also, NBC is going to have to put up the cash. Chances are anyway that the winner will take the lump sum, not the annuity, and likely would have to pay out less than $1 million, even to Erin.
Contradictions don't exist. If you are faced with a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong. -- Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

LAST EDITED ON 08-02-03 AT 11:04 PM (EST)Rob is simply there to be the one to offer the money to the guys, money that one of them takes. He may also be the one to tell them that it's love OR money (they may tell them earlier than they told the girls in FLOM1). Just to clarify...Paraphrasing, the preview states that Erin has rejected ten men, next week, one of the men reject her. Shot of a guy putting stacks of bills into his jacket pocket. Shot of Erin, smirking, says "Can I ask how much?". Then, in two weeks, a familiar face returns. Shot of Rob in white tux up on the balcony, Erin looking up with a bemused look on her face. Therefore, unless the preview is purposely misleading, Rob cannot offer the guy (VIC!!!) money to leave.

HHHEEEYYY!! - WASN'T THE DEAL THAT ERIN COULD CHOOSE THE MONEY *ONLY IF* SHE NEVER "SAW" ROB AGAIN???WHAT'S GOING ON HERE??? It looks like she can see him!!! IMO: they should bring PAIGE back somehow! *SHE* was the star of the first season! IMO/2: the money is chumpchange for everyone. Erin is persuing a career in broadcasting. This kind of coverage / face recognition is worth MUCH MUCH MORE than the "present value" of $2M...

I agree with you guys that NBC just does not want to give money to Erin that easy. And they just gave her one day to decide to be on LOM2. Rob told in an interview that producers were talking to both Kelly and Paige to act on LOM2 (may be a backup for Erin, incase if she decided not to). In the last week preview Erin asks the guy "how much?". I can feel that she must be thinking that curel producers are palying with her same way they did to Rob. I think the guys will be told that Erin gets both. May be or may be not. Then only no guy will not choose her if they know Erin gets both(assuming the money is not splitted). It is pretty interesting to watch from next episode. I guess Both Paige and Rob are coming to LOM2 and getting their record straight. VIC will take the money and run away. He is the smartest person. Eric is too greedy to get the 1 million. Except Vic & Eric every one is in Sales profession. They know the value of the money. I guess after VIC takes money and leaves Rob may be filling in that place and may be going on date with Erin again once he fills in the position. I can bet on Rob's ego will not bend him over. He may behave like a saddiest I think who ever asked to stay by Erin only can take the money and go. That must be the game. I donot think before Erin tells her decision they would not have choice to take the money. This producers are cruel and show Erin's reaction to the viewers. I donot know what will be Paige's role in this. She seems to be happy talking about the LOM2.
I hope the producers give us a nice ending. I am looking forward to see that. Is it Rob & Erin Rob & Kelly? SUN

I don't like Erin...I recall her sayin that she needed the million in the first FLOM for her mother for some reason..illness or whatever. NOW she's betting a million bucks on the SLIM chance she's gonna get picked over another million. I know she gets a compensatroy sum for being on the show..but come on, A MILLION BUCKS. If mom needs it, I take the mill. If I were a bettin man, and I am, I'd say the dude is gonna pick a million bucks over some girl he's spent very little time with...I don't consider myself materialistic (maybe I'm wrong) but I definately know I'd take the money over some girl I met on TV while living in an idealized environment (with outrageously expensive and romantic set up dates, and the added aspect of competition against other men, being the winner and the hopes of finding stardom and fame, as some, if not all, of these guys are looking for, I mean, come on, whose really coming on a tv show on FOX, none the less, in a real and credible attempt to find true love.) Now last week, she says something about her father being a former professional football player? Come on... the girl has got to have some money. OHHHH AND ANOTHER THING.. Now I'm not saying guys aren't like this or don't do this, cause we do, all the time, constantly.... But does anyone else notice how focused erin is on how the guys look? I mean first thing out of her mouth in each of her commentaries is how the guys looks...maybe i'm just imposing a sub-conscious (sp?) double standard, but it seems like she's very shallow/superfacial. Oh and she's pretty fickle too. Okay, I'm done. Sorry about all the comas... If you're expecting a kick in the balls, but you get a slap in the face, its a victory.

I think Erin needs attention and uses the show to get the fame and possible contracts in the show business. Ofcourse now every one knows what is her motivations are. She said Rob is a attractive and great guy. Then she said she has not done anything for money in her life before. If those two are true so why cannot she give up money for a possible relationship with a person who really likes her!!!!!!!. She will get fame and money and possible show business contracts with NBC sitcom. But getting love she should be fortunate and should have good KARMA to get it. You blew it away Erin like Rob did when poor Paige fell in love with him.

Rob really wasn't that bright. The show made him look like an idiot. The guy lost his job, didn't get the money or the girl, and he's coming back for his second chance? Erin was never really into him at all. You can't blame her for taking the money because she was never in love with Rob. Rob's the biggest idiot for even thinking Erin would choose him over the money. I hope he won't divulge to the remaining men just what went on there before their arrival. That would be seriously unfair to Erin.

He comes across as quite naive at times. If Erin had a heart, she should have chosen Rob over the money then let him go in a private way (receiving a nice $$ prize in the process). It would have made more sense in FLOM2 to bring Paige back. Paige is definitely more vulnerable to NBC than Erin is (Erin's been around). I wonder if Erin was tipped off to hold out for FLOM2?In a way by coming back to the show, Erin is in the same situation, if not worse, than if she would have chosen Rob over the money, so he's probably coming back to see if she'll admit to lying to him about having feelings for him. I wonder what her ex-boyfriends would have to say about her and why they broke up. He's ex-military, so a little criticism probably just rolls off his back. It could be construed as being unfair to Erin, but remember where she's been, and NBC could care less about fairness... only plot twists. You need a strong foundation in a relationship to be able to withstand this kind of stress, so Nash's hopes in creating some mind blowing, psychologically deep and prolific television were dashed before he even starting filming. He's so tacky, why doesn't he just go over to the set of Race to the Altar and offer the winning bride and groom money to separate?

With an intro into the "biz" like this, I doubt that anyone would take them seriously or their days would be limited. When I see Charlie from The Bacherolette doing interviews, he comes across like a little boy, and how is Trista going to spend any time with Ryan if she goes ahead with her TV Guide job? It's kinda sad and silly.
