What a heartbreaker! It hurt so bad watching Paige get rejected, ESPECIALLY after Erin hyped her up about it. "I am 100% he's going to pick you!", Good Job Erin! Paige was (what she interpreted) as being in love with him, she was ready for anything, and really expressed it, and it was obvious to EVERYBODY that there was no doubt she would take Rob over the money. Rob has to be the most dense guy in the world not to see that. As whiny as thought Paige was, I did start off really liking her and I don't think any of us could avoid how sweet she came off on the show, the innocent doe-eyed type. I feel so bad for Paige, and Rob is an idiot (as we all have said repeatedly on this board). Now Erin, she was a close second to Paige as one of my favorites and she has to be one of the most gorgeous women to ever be on these dating reality shows. But she takes the million, talking about helping he rparents and whatnot, then she decides to give it up for a chance for $2 Million, Kelly better watch her GoldDigger crown! And now, Erin, 'ole "I have to hold back", Erin looks like she's going Trista on these 15 guys. I'm not into the types who are willing to make out and tongue-slather 15 guys. There goes my former image of Erin. But again, sorry Paige, we all feel your pain, and we hear your heart beating.

I do believe you've coined a new term...."going Trista." I love it! I just read where Trista is getting $1M for the rights to air her wedding. Personally I would rather have died than to have my wedding broadcast, but then again, I am not a media ho. And obviously, the folks on these shows are.And hey, more power to them! They've gotta know what they're getting into when they agree to do these shows, so I find it hard to pity any of them. Besides, it is so entertaining to bash them! I kinda got out of watching this show when it coincided with "Paradise Hotel" (shameful as it is to admit to watching one tawdry show over the other) so I didn't see the last couple of episodes, but what I remember from being 21, it's pretty easy to fall in love, especially with an older guy. And besides, that guy was soooo totally wrong for Paige in sooo many ways! She's just young and needs a few more laps around the track and she'll be fine.

LAST EDITED ON 07-08-03 AT 11:20 AM (EST)I have to be honest... if someone offered me a million dollars to televise my wedding... you're going to see it on TV! Paige had a case of puppy love, and it's clear that she's pretty innocent and her feelings are still out there on her sleeve. But, as said above, she'll be just fine. In fact, I imagine she got over Rob pretty quickly. It's equally obvious that Rob is a total freakin' idiot. Yes, he and Paige can split a million dollars, and if things don't work out, they walk away with a lot more money than when they started. Picking Erin was just totally dumb, and it really makes me wonder if Rob was coached (or, worse yet, TOLD) to pick Erin.

Contradictions don't exist. If you are faced with a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong. -- Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
