LAST EDITED ON 06-11-05 AT 08:33 PM (EST)LAST EDITED ON 06-11-05 AT 05:16 PM (EST) I just watched the Bad Wolf episode and I thought it was hillarious. Can you imagine the host (Anne Robinson) of the Weakest Link being an evil robot host and a particularily cruel Big Brother and Extreme Makeover? I thought you reality junkies (like me) might get a kick out of it. Sure make Chen-bot look tame. I can't wait for the season finale (next week's episode). Three is the perfect number.

I love Doctor Who, even though we're on like the 5th episode here in the States. I wish that Sci Fi would air the episodes at the same time as the UK, but I still love David Tennant. I like Martha more than Rose, she was annoying, and I'm glad Captain Jack is coming back

I love Doctor Who and was so happy to see a post on here even though no one has posted for awhile. If you haven't heard by now, the 4th series will start next year in 2008, then in 2009 instead of having series 5, they will have 3 special episodes throughout the year until the 5th series comes back in 2010. and its sad to say that David Tennant is not confirmed for the 5th series yet. I really hope he comes back though, I'm quite enjoying him as the Doctor and I don't want him to go just yet. For now, I'm just going crazy waiting for the Christmas episode! Also, if anyone watches Torchwood, its coming back in Jan or Feb I believe. The first episode James Marsters is going to appear and he and John Barrowman have a steamy scene together! Can't wait for that either! "...I mean this from the heart, and by the way, count those.."

Donna Noble as a companion is good. I did not like her in Runaway Bride, but I think that was because she was quite a one dimensional character. I am looking forward to the finale because there are all sorts of spoilers saying that past characters will return. I'll leave it like that. And I hear CBC will be airing the 4th season in September. But I haven't heard anything about Torchwood's 2nd season yet. CBC wasn't showing DW while HNIC was having the playoffs. (Side note) Ah, what a debacle with the HNIC theme. I think it is only a matter of time that CBC loses HNIC altogether. TSN and CTV will scoop it up the way they did with the Olympics and CFL football. Edits - to say, I suck at typing on the laptop so I had to go back and fix a few things Three is the perfect number.

I love doctor who, but at first i could stand it! my dad watches it all the time, and i thought it was totally stupid and a waste of time and it was rather corny, but then i actually sat down with him, and now i watch it all the time...great show!

Well I was impressed, Matt Smith worked a lot better than I was expecting, and Karen Gillian is acting him off the show, I'm wondering how her stalkerish behaviour is going to fit in to the story arc.Bit of a loose story, however I suppose when you are introducing a new Doctor you don't need the plot to take over all the time. Ever since I was a child I liked the Dr Who series and I used to hide behind the sofa whenever the Daleks appeared. I think it must have been the voice. But over time the whole idea lost so much of its charm that it became a real pain to watch. Watching the Doctor Who series from nowadays I was transported back to those days, in so much as I felt just as I did back then.

Shades of Colin Baker...http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/peter-capaldi-named-as-next-doctor-who-star-1035824.php This isn't the actor's first turn at a role in "Doctor Who." He played Roman merchant Caecilius in 2008 in "The Fires of Pompeii" episode when David Tennant played the 10th Doctor. Capaldi also had a role in the five-episode third series of "Doctor Who" spinoff "Torchwood.".. The Doctor has been played by actors William Hartnell, 1963-66; Patrick Troughton, 1966-69; Jon Pertwee, 1970-74; Tom Baker, 1974-81; Peter Davison, 1982-84; Colin Baker, 1984-86; Sylvester McCoy, 1987-96; Paul McGann, 1996; Christopher Eccleston, 2005; David Tennant, 2005-10; and Matt Smith, 2010-13. Peter Cushing, 1965 and 1966; Richard Hurndall, 1983; etc.

Every six Doctors the part goes to someone who previously had a different part on Doctor Who, was all I meant. Colin Baker had previously played Maxil in "Arc of Infinity."

Such a shame that Christopher Ecclestone decided not to take part, he's my favourite new Doctor. Watched Rose again yesterday so am hyper stoked to see Billy Piper back again. Will we get to see the Doctors daughter again? Which version is John Hurt? With the Timelords dead does this mean that the Doctor can regenerate more than 13 times? Now Captain Jack has destroyed the Shades in Starling city will he be making a reappearance? No bloody Pond soap opera Under 12 hours to go The BBC are a little obsessed by the 50th anniversary, quite a few complaints that it is taking up so much of the news. OTOH a few of the other progs have been really good, the dramatisation of the start Adventures in time and space was fantastic didn't realise that it was a Canadian who started the whole thing up. And Brian Coxes programme on the science was also really well done. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7z6FMCqYrBo
