"Living conditions"
Hi all. New poster long time reader.

What are the living conditions like for Jeff and the crew?

How many camera (women / men) do the take along?

Thanks,

Dusty

1. "RE: Living conditions"
Hello Dusty and welcome aboard.

The living conditions vary from season to season. There have been some seasons where Jeff and the crew have lived in temporary camps but in others they live in local resorts. (We often noticed that Jeff's appreciation of a season seemed to depend more on his living conditions than the actual game!) Many of the recent seasons have seen the castaways restricted to very small stretches of beach close to big resort areas that the crew uses for their down time.

I've never looked at the credits to count the number of staff but I've read that there are six crews at work at a time when the tribes are in camp. Jeff said that the editors have around 300 hours of material for each episode so, counting 50 hours of activity for the usual 3 day cycle, it does point to 6 cameras working.
