PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats, but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are encouraged to read the complete guidelines. ok, not way behind, but i just found this link:

http://www.geocities.com/dnbmathguy/pushnv.html

it basically sums up what other people have found already

Koko was on the porch, trying to catch mosquitos on the screen, the problem being that they were all on the outside. "And you're supposed to be a smart cat," Qwilleran said.

1. "The information"
FYI, I contacted the author of this page and he gave us permission to repost his guide here (and maybe with a little luck, he'll hop in and offer some comments as well.)

FYI... there's more going on than this, and I don't have the time right now to detail everything that I've learned, but this is a good starting point

UPDATE HISTORY

1.6.2: I swear, there are some people who are out to make me work harder! There are now TWO archives up: one at ARGN and one at Realiiity. Also, be on the lookout for a potential announcement coming soon. (August 26, 2002)

1.6.1: Added some more stuff to the Spoiler page. Two things, actually (in case you were here a few hours ago). (August 21, 2002)

1.6: Have a gander at the Live Planet Terms of Use. Does our archive go against it? Anyway, right now, all of the links are broken. Hopefully, around the time the show starts, the links will become unbroken. Also, there is some information that was discovered based on advance copies of the pilot. I have decided to make the information available on this page. (August 17, 2002)

1.5: Bad Push PMs! No biscuit! Seems as if LivePlanet wasn't quite ready for us, as all of the sites were taken down. No matter: we archived them all! All the links were updated, although the hacker Push popup doesn't work. Also, the links for the .jpgs for the newspaper articles are dead; apparently, these were not archived. Oh well. Thanks to Steve for archiving. (July 27, 2002)

1.0: Started document. Added "About Push, NV", "Trailers", "www.pushtimes.com", "Audio Puzzle", and "Cell Phone Puzzle". (July 13, 2002)

ABOUT PUSH, NV

Push, NV is a new show produced by LivePlanet, co-owned by Ben Affleck, Sean Bailey, and Matt Damon, for ABC. It promises to be an "interactive" television show, giving viewers the chance to win a cash prize by successfully finding, interpreting, and solving clues from the episodes. It is centered around the fictional town of Push, Nevada, featuring the Versailles Casino.

TRAILERS

Going to the Zap2It website gives you a list of previews for the show. Most notably, about five seconds into Clip 5 is a split-second shot of a ledger. It reads something like this:

...SAILLES CASINO Silas Bodnick Time: 7:42 AM 775-322-7867
C D Week One
Total Assets X 364,722,160.25
Cash On Hand X 4,833,955.50
Checking Account X 1,722,750.??
??? Checking Account X ???
??? Drawer X ???

Calling 775-322-7867 gets you to Silas's voice-mail box, asking you to leave a message after the beep. There is speculation that we could find the password to get into his voice box; however, it has not been found as of yet.

Also, immediately before the ledger, there is a picture of a man reading what looks to be microfiche. It was determined (via sharp eyes) that we was reading the Push Times. Whaddaya know, pushtimes.com is an in-game site!

A few seconds after you first appear on the site, a pop-up appears from a hacker. Clicking on the link will get you to the hacker site, which offers some puzzles. We'll get to those in a minute.

The front page features a weather report... for Sunday, May 5. It also highlights this story about a big fire on the outskirts of town. Authorities believe that faulty wiring was the cause. There was, however, "no evidence of foul play or arson". (Yeah, right) Push People is a story about how the Versailles Casino is helping to repair Push High School's athletic fields (aww, how touching).

Business News is about the owner of Job's Auto Repair. He's played "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" on high-tech TV screens he's installed (oh, how very ABC). Local Listings is a directory of businesses in town.

The winners page profiles Vito Bonaventura (no relation to the Bonnaventure, I'm sure) who won a million dollars playing roulette. The numbers just kept on coming to him, he says. What an impressive stroke of luck. Maybe someone will win the BMW contest that's advertised.

Then there are the archives. Strangely, there are only three listed archives, from March of 1983, June of 1984, and April of 1985. In the March '83 edition, everyone is packing up and moving out, leaving Push as a ghost town. In June of '84, the Versailles Casino is bought by Watermark LLC, which promises to bring better times to the town. Sure enough, they give away over $700K the first week, including $250K to one Michelle Berg. The April '85 edition chronicles an revitalization project, as old houses are bulldozed to make room for new ones. The casino also seems to be lucky for players, with a Carrie Saks winning $250K, with another winner the week prior winning $500K.

AUDIO PUZZLE

Remember the hacker pop-up? Clicking the link on it gets you to this page. Apparently the Silas Bodnick that we found out about in the trailer? He's dead. As an added bonus, $1.2 million has mysteriously vanished from the casino. Very very interesting.

On Monday, our hacker friend posts what appears to be an audio mixing board. The goal is to be able to push play, and have the levels of audio all be green, with no red. By using the mixing levels +3 -1 +2 +3 0, you hear the following messsage crystal clear:

This is George from accounting. We need to get security down here immediately. There is $1.2 million missing from the vault.

Also, there is another audio message hidden in the mix. You can hear a fuzzy version of it at +1 +3 +1 +2 -2. We haven't found a clear version of it yet, but it sounds like standard conductor speak when arriving at a station. The city name was worked out to be San Juan Capistrano, best known as the place where all the swallows return.

CELL PHONE PUZZLE

The hacker entry for Wednesday gives us a new cell phone puzzle. We hear the beeps of a cell phone being dialed, and we have to figure out what the numbers are.

The answer to this puzzle was discovered to be 310918. Why it's only a six-digit number, I don't know. Inputting this number and pressing "play" on the cell-phone displays the following message:

You have solved the clue, please enter the number sequence below, and click submit.

At this time, unfortunately, there is no place to enter the number sequence or click submit. We can only assume this will be added later.
