After the floaters dived out of the endurance competition so quickly as to get smacked in the face by the closing credits and Dan continued his plan of throw, throw, throw the thing down, it came down to Shane and Ian. Jock vs. engineer. Moron vs. working brain. Person with no cause for vengeance because he's not capable of caring about other people vs. 'VENGEANCE!'You know the theme. You know who won. So Ian's HoH at the moment he arguably needed it most, and is he going to use his one and only power to try and get Dan out the door? Wrong. Ian isn't even allowed to discuss his intended nominations with the other hamsters: the Voice Of The House blasted him for being open with Joe, when every other HoH has been doing it all season. Because Grodner officially loves Frank the most and will settle for Shane, but Ian? Just isn't her type. So Ian must be punished for winning, for applying, for getting on the show, and especially because he's going to nominate Frank. And not against Dan. Against Jenn. With Joe on veto standby. Why would he nominate Dan? Dan reformed the Quack Pack. Dan is totally forgiven. The fact that Britney's gone and it's Dan's fault? Doesn't matter. Because by the end of the week, her departure will be Ian's fault. Possibly by noon today. Dan's a hardcore politician and you get things done by convincing the populace that no matter what happened before, it was bad, totally not your responsibility, and you must throw out the current power so everything can be made still worse. Campaign ho! And besides, if he does nominate Dan, Grodner will throw him out of the cage for having dared to discuss nominations. There's just too many hamsters left anyway, right? So all Ian accomplishes this week is to sleep in a halfway-decent bed for a change while having the others pretend to svck up -- which he cut short by tossing them out after his letter reading. (They slimed their way back up. They always do.) And now the rats plan a way for Dan to win veto, remove Frank, and get forgiven for that next week. Frank must remove Dan. This is the storyline, and all logic to the contrary does not exist. In fact, no logic exists at all. It's easier to write that way. 
It sure doesn't make it easier to watch.

I've been watching Big Brother?!? I thought it was the convention. It must have been the lying, cheating, funny costumes, weird lighting and BS flowing like the Mississippi. Easy mistake.I hope Ian can pull a fast one on the rats, he has the brains but can he "mist" the rest to help him out. And that marks the only thing Dan will ever do for a lesbian's supposed benefit -- and even that was an illusion: if Dan's group of F2 partners maintain control, Jenn should be one of the next two evictions.(Well, you know. Other than voting to deny her the right to marry, adopt, work, serve, and exist. Because that's all for her own good.) Can you imagine the explosion if Joe somehow takes the next HoH? I can just about guarantee Dan would be one of his nominations, and there's a good chance Danielle would be the other. He's been Cassandra, warning the others of the all-too-visible truth -- and all he ever gets is 'Shut up, hula-hoop boy.' Maybe if he didn't try to yell it to passing aircraft.

Her parents were both Marines. She was beaten her as a child. Her parents almost sold her to gypsies. Because, you know, the Romani totally do that. Not. Her family approved of her drinking while underage. Maybe it gave them an excuse for beating her because she started at the age of four. Hard whiskey. Not only was her father a marine, he was also a minister. Her father was once possessed by the devil. Despite being a minister. And a marine. This could make a great movie. Staying with Good Old Dad, he taught her how to swim by throwing her into the water. No word on whether he was possessed at the time. Her mother spent a decade writing a computer program which only she understands. Is 'she' Danielle? Her mother? It certainly doesn't seem to be the computer. Programming Marine ministries of computer exorcism! Her grandfather invented laundry detergent. When she was a teenager she was a U.S. ambassador to China. Please don't ask me how this works. Please don't ask Danielle either. But she speaks Chinese, at least until someone asks her to, at which point she can't. Also Spanish. In the exact same way. No word on whether she was ever an ambassador there. She won the award for the best cheerleader. In America? In China? Who knows? In addition to being beaten by her parents, she's been abused by two boyfriends: one hit her and another bit a hole in her lip. Which must have healed perfectly, because she's had so much practice in getting better from the following: Broken nose

Car accident in which her cousin died. (The accident happened and her cousin did pass, but people say Danielle wasn't there.)

Irritable bowel syndrome She's a LN. No, she's an RN and soon to be an LPN. She's like a doctor & doctors ask her for advice. She's friends with Tim McGraw. She's also friends with Faith Hill. She's just that friendly. She was married once, but her husband maxed out her credit cards and thus did the romance die. And her husband may have done so spending money on a girlfriend. No one's sure. This may include Danielle. She's a gymnast who does Latin ballroom dance in between playing softball and trying out every sexual position that exists, including a few you've never heard of and several she presumably invented. And there may have been some other stuff about teaching, fighting, the further horrors of her family life, and Dan having a F2 alliance with her. But don't worry. If you missed any of this, there's going to be more along in a minute... Natalie must be so jealous. All she had was a magic poker bracelet.

Which is completely wrong: whenever Dan discusses politics, he actively hits people with the thing right out in the open. Be fair, Joe! And please use the Jack Shack because now that Britney is no longer present to mock your procedure, the audience factor is gone! But you won't be. Frank's still the target. For now... (He also told Shane that the house flipper should not count on his own IQ. But don't worry: Shane forget it already.) In the 'Dan is evil, bored, or both' category, he froze several pieces of Danielle's lingerie. Because when you have someone who's tried out every sexual position that exists and a few known only to seagulls, you have to slow them down somehow. Danielle responded by continuing to cuddle with Shane (who's getting sick of it and told Dan directly that there's nothing there emotionally -- would you believe he's been placing a stuffed dog between them at night to cut down on direct contact?) and trying to get the others to speak about how attractive she is. Because it took so much work to heal from all those injuries and illnesses, so they'd better appreciate the results. And now we enter The Lull. The Lull is going to last a while. They seem to be anticipating a quiz HoH. Bring on the Target Isolation Booths Of Doom.

He broke Wil's memory wall picture frame and caused the entire image to vanish. No gays will be remembered on Dan's watch! (Wil has tweeted on the topic, wondering where he went.) Dan's also been mocking Ian's stimming and continuing to convince everyone they're F2 with him, possibly including the rats. Imagine what's going to happen if he gets to the end and the jurors begin comparing notes. And I'll Fair Use this from Hamsterwatch: "about the only other noteworthy thing I've got is a brief return to As Danielle's World Turns - I've been going easy on her story lately due to the backlash out here, which is over the top in my opinion, but I also don't like defending her She went on an anti-Frank tirade tonight to Dan, then to Shane, and then to Joe, escalating his demonic faults with each retell of course.. after all the fishing for compliments she does about her looks and body, apparently it's a crime if Frank should pay her one.. So do we think there is any chance that Dan will have the vote go to a tie, so he makes Ian make the deciding vote to get Frank out? Ian had contemplated getting Joe out, so it does have a small risk to it. Dan also seems to be making too many final 2 deals that I think it is going to come back to haunt him once the others start to talk amongst themselves.

No visible explosions, but you have to think Frank not only knows he's going out now, but an attempt to place full ouster blame on Ian would become extra-visible -- so apparent that even Frank might need a tenth of a second to ignore it before deciding that yes, his friends had tried to save him. Even the one who's been telling people how evil he is. And that he has a huge crush on her. He should totally get out of her bed now: Shane's gonna beat him up for not doing anything to win her away. For a given value of 'win'. Notable: the hamsters are not talking double eviction this time around, and tonight has a legitimate chance to take them by surprise. It also sounds like Ian's HoH blog was edited to the point of wiping most of it out. Dan has been lying on his Bible so much that there may be atheists waiting for it to catch fire. Preferably while his hand is on it. And there's a bat in the backyard. Joe's head finally had a breakout. Danielle had this line a few minutes ago: "Why is Shane so mean to me? I'm not even clingy."

Dan replaced him with Danielle.
Joe evicted 3-0 Dan must want to go to the end with Danielle. (Since it's reality TV and she doesn't know what reality is maybe she'd be DQed!) Jury will be bitter but Danielle? How could she win? She would still win but how could she?! The question I have: If Jenn wins HoH, does she nominate Dan?
