RollDdice 5659 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 06-22-05, 03:12 AM (EST) ""Notify me via email when someone posts" option" This friendly checkbox no longer exists when posting in a thread. When checked, an email was sent anytime someone added to the thresd. Was eliminating the option a policy change or is it a temporary situation? Was it a strain on the servers? bongo 112 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Blistex Spokesperson" 06-22-05, 09:55 PM (EST) 1. "RE: "Notify me via email when someone posts" option" yeah, why did that get removed? I don't come here much, but when I do, I reply to topics and click that box, so I know someone else has posted in it. It really saves time, I have a slower computer, and this site takes awhile to load, so it was nice to know whether or not there were new posts to read. "RE: "Notify me via email when someone posts" option" It was removed due to the limitation that the functionality did not include a corresponding "unsubscribe" capability.
