aethelstan 4348 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Jerry Springer Show Guest" 05-03-05, 10:35 AM (EST) "Search tool" Hi. I used to have no problems using the search tool within the archives or not. Now, it seems that I can only get a successful result if I don't click on the "search in archives" box. The behaviour when I do try to search in the archives is that the search tool will try to run for a few minutes (and I'll see the "loading page/thinking" icon on my browser is working) and then it will stop altogether leaving me in the same page I started. It does not display any results or say "not found/unsuccessful". Do you know of any reason why this may be? A few months ago, I was able to successfully make a search for a certain thread from the year 2001 -- then a few days ago, I entered exactly the same info looking for the same thread, and it was unsuccessful. This is true even of a search for a poster or a subject (not getting into the message itself).
