I want to know the code for making a portion of my background behind the text black. (Kinda like the way the older SOTS began.) I'm writing the AI summary and I want the beginning set up like Star Wars (which means its gotta be on a black background with yellow text for the beginning). "RE: Another html question (links)" Cahaya, I had to dig around for this, so I should make you do the same. No, here's how to do it. I'll use the example of RTVW's front page. Take the web address, no matter how long it is: http://www.realitytvworld.com/ and replace the "http://"; with a left bracket and then the word "link" followed by a colon. At the end of the URL, put in the vertical "pipe" (above the backslash) (|) and then the text that you want highlighted. Put the right bracket at the end of that text. Make sure you preview before posting; I've forgotten these brackets more than once. And that is how you do it! Do a "reply with quote" to see for certain. When you reply to a posting, and you're in the Compose your message screen, look at the red text right above the reply box. There are 4 bullet points. The first one is "HTML Reference" The linking explanation is the second point. It says: Text URL is without the "http://";. Example: DCScripts You can also click on "Reply with Quote" to see the HTML code that others use, which I find handy when someone does something that isn't covered in the reference, for example "Marquee".
