PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"Does RTVW crash my web browser?" |
I think that this might actually be a general computer use type of question rather than a RTVW specific question, but I'm going to throw it out there to see if somebody a lot more technologically savvy than I am can offer some assistance.I use a Macintosh Powerbook G4 with Mac OS 10.3.7. I use Netcape 7.1 as my browser. For the last five days or so it has been crashing on me about once every half hour - but only when I am at the RTVW site - which may be just a coincidence since I tend to spend more time here than anywhere else. When the program crashes, I get a message that says "mozilla-bin" unexpectedly quit and asking if I want to send a report to Apple. (I usually do.) Thinking there might be a flaw in the browser, I downloaded the more recent Netscape 7.2 but I still had the same problems. Last night I downloaded Mozilla 1.7.5 but that browser has crashed three times this morning. Also, every since this started happening I have noticed that in the bar at the bottom of the browser where it usually says "Done" when a page has loaded it now sometimes says "Start: applet not initialized." Does anybody have any suggestions on how I might "fix" this problem? a sig by syren

1. "Unfortunately..." |
...while I'm also a Mac person on MacOS 10.3.7, I use Safari as my web browser. I'll have to ask Webby if he knows anything about compatibility issues with the current version of either Netscape or Mozilla.
