"WSC3 (PH) Antoine's Tequila Sunrise" |
 This picture was taken on my way to work shortly before Christmas. Whenever the sunrise is visible on my early morning commute, it is always most breathtaking at Antoine Lake. Antoine is a very tiny lake. You can see the majority of it in this picture. It is located at the bottom of a hill beside the highway and from what I understand, a tornado went through there about 15 years ago. You can still see its path although it has grown over quite a bit. Actually, this is the first picture that I took on my new digital camera. I was bringing it to work to show my coworker and when I saw the sunrise I had to stop and take a picture of it. It could have been better if I hadn't been in such a hurry. You see, I'd just passed a car and I didn't want that car to get ahead of me again while I was pulled over on the side of the highway so I didn't have a whole lot of time. I have another picture that I took last year for the competition and never got around to entering it. Will have to see if I can find it.
