Drive My Car 20045 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 01-02-04, 02:02 PM (EST) "WSC3 (FV) Into The Green" Into The Green It's bright and bold So green Rich , lush, the greenest of Green It startles the senses and fills the eyes Vibrant and calming at the same time You can see it eyes closed, imprinted on the inside of the lids It's a green you can smell, earthy and alive Quivering, electric, smooth, yet full of energy. It moves, and everything moves with it The green threatens to fill me invading all my corners with it's power Yet soft gentle is the green It speaks, I hear it clearly the green whispers the green roars Talking to me telling stories of time and mystery shadow and light It fills everything, so immense is the green. I soak it in, absorbing the life, the strength I lie down down into the green look up into the green It becomes everything there is only me, and this glorious unending color I am so small next to it, surrounded by it Cradled and safe in the green I am bright now too Borrowing it's magic, I shine I'm charged, reflecting my own greeness I climb up into the green, reach into it I touch it, it feels me The green knows me, is aware and awake to me We are alive together I am rising higher and higher into the green I look up and see the blue ( I wrote this as a Flash, but have been tweaking with it, since it always felt more poem to me)   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Doodle you seem to have come closest. It was written for my daughter, who lives in our very green backyard, she is a tree climber. Others close to me didn't understand what I was talking about, but my Katie saw it the first time she read it. She knew it was about her love of the trees and the grass. Looking up into the Blue is about her when she reaches those upper branches, until then, it is all about the Green. Thanks to all who read this one and liked it.
