I think this is a wonderful category, especially for those computer artists. I know you are out there! This is a painting of mine done on poly coated paper using acrylics. I wasn't particularly pleased with the end result, so I did some alterations (color and softening) using Photoshop. Enough that I don't feel comfortable posting it as a painting anymore, so I'll post it here. I did the original painting late one evening after returning from a club. The band playing was a Grateful Dead knock-off, and the audience was full of interesting folks, many of whom could have used a shower! Anyway this one fortyish guy in particular was such a throwback to the sixties. Yes he bought me a drink! We talked and he told me how he used to follow the Grateful Dead around in a VW Van. For five freaking years he did this! Anyway I get home and create this. Okay at least the original version! I like this one better though. I know it's kinda weird, but I prefer abstract and off-the-wall art.

There's a Jerry Garcia thing going there. Great colors, acrylics are difficult to work with. Nice work!
