OK you guys are too nice! I feel a little embarrased after viewing Echo Girl's beautiful entry, The Road (I think thats the name), a gorgeous picture, at how easy it was to add some of the effects on mine. This was an original snapshot of T Street in San Clemente (where the trash meets the surf), where I was able to "erase" the fire pits and fast food garbage out of pic with a photo program by Ulead (their basic photo shop program which can be downloaded as a 30 days trial version). It allowed me to add an extra palm tree, and the bubbles, as well as the "stars" on bubbles, very, very easily. It was simple and quick, and the finished product reminded me of 1940s style postcards, which were airbrushed to get effects. I only had to click my mouse for my effects. If only I could get that program to be as simple on retouching portraits! Think of the possibilities! Wedding pictures you could actually show long after the magic of the first decade of marriage has left, teenage kids without zits, a kinder, gentler mother in law....... Thank you for the compliments, this is my first outing sharing PC files, and you have made it very pleasant.
