Guys, thanks for all the emails - I just got home about 45 minutes ago, and I'm fine. Very shaken up, but okay. Will reply to all your emails later on, because I need to get offline to reach more family and friends to let them know I got home safely.I'm very ready to move to Canada, as you can imagine. I'll write about what happened later, but the upswing is, although our office is about 4 miles away, we had a clear view of the towers blowing up. It was the most horrible thing I've ever seen in my life - and I don't mean a little speck on the horizon. From our office, they look about two feet in height, they're that close. We saw both explosions, plus the top half of tower 2 snap off onto the ground. We were well on our way to safety before we heard in the street that both towers are gone - both just completely collapsed. Kira, I'm so glad you're okay - saw Jizzy's posting. I thought about you all day and prayed you were able to get out of the city okay! Glad that Moonie and GG are okay too! I need to go now, as I can't get through to Toronto - John doesn't even know that I'm okay, and my phone lines just came up a couple hours ago, so he can't reach me. I emailed his parents so they could phone him. Some relatives I could get through to, others I'm just getting operator recordings. Will post the horrible story later - again, thanks for so many emails, will reply to them later if I'm awake. Very drained and freaked out right now. I love you guys. ****************************************

Itzy... we both (Babs and I) are extremely relieved to know you got home safe and sound. We have been wondering how you were holding up as I can imagine the shock must be rather extreme. I hope you know that ALL of us are here for you if you ever want to talk talk talk about it, or simply want company around you on here.

Well thank the good Lord you're OK Lisa. My mind zoomed in on all my friends in NY and I immediately said "Oh No, Bubbles!!!". I didn't clog up your email cause I didn't think you would be able to respond....(ie: better things to do). It is a shame that you had to be an eye witness but in another way it makes it more of a "reality" for us just imagizing the horror you personally suffered. I know you have said a few times you were ready to get the heck out of the Big Apple....now seems like a good time, sweetie!!! Take care and remember you are in all our hearts!! Dalton
