There Were Rocks in the Way
So yeah, I think it's safe to say this is the most inexpensive race yet. Between the fewer number of countries this season and now the cheapo chariot race, you can tell the pursestrings are being tightened. I'm amused at the idea that they tested that chariot run and some production guy suggested, "Hey, let's just drop a bunch of rocks and sticks in the way." At least they got a pretty energetic/pushy guy to play that gladiator (and Leo/Jamal really got into it).

Yeah, I think a lot of us felt that way.
It was an interesting week for scoring... There was kind of divide overall, with half of the field having a pretty mediocre, break-even kind of week. While those who did good... Did really good. The bonus was much easier to guess this time around, thanks to the Globetrotters being the only SAME.
This week's Greatest Gainer Award goes to louislam, who jumped up a whopping 8 ranks this week. I say "whopping" because that's like, half the field. Good job!
The Perfect Bet Award also goes to louislam (3.8x), whose correct bonus wager really knocked those points into the stratosphere. Nicely done.

Bonus Game - Lucky 7
You guys just knew this was coming next. I'm way too boring and predictable now.
The object of this game is to pick two teams whose ranks at the end of the next episode add up to 7. In other words, that means you're trying to pick the teams that finish 1st & 6th, 2nd & 5th, or 3rd & 4th.
It doesn't matter what your intent is, just the outcome. If you bet on two teams, expecting them to be 1st & 6th, and then they finish 3rd & 4th, you still win. All you're doing is picking two teams for your wager and hoping they add to 7. There's obviously an overall ranking you'll have in your mind... But you never know, you might luck into another winning combo.
Place a wager next to your bonus picks. If the final ranks of the two bonus teams you pick equals 7, then you're a winner.
