What Suspense?
I always hate it when a team gets stuck at the airport. It always makes the rest of the leg less suspenseful. It is always amusing to see how hard the editors try to make it look like the last place team is still in it. And the tasks were still interesting. It was nice to see them focus on that time on the train they had. Reminded me of Teri/Ian back in TAR3 when they went to Vietnam.

Moving Right Along
Another very solid week of scoring, thanks to the usual bunch being among the leaders of the pack this week. The new "Ignore a Team" feature started this week, and it did end up benefiting a couple players, setting aside teams like Dave/Connor or Caroline/Jennifer to let their other bets score instead. For most, their ignored team (say, Leo/Jamal) placed too low to really matter for their scoring.
This week's Greatest Gainer Award goes to Ontheroadagain, Jims03, and starshine, who all bumped up 2 ranks this week. Good job, us!
The Perfect Bet Award goes to the all-around nice (and handsome!) guy Jims03, who doubled-up. I had a good feeling about this one, and it's good to see he came through. Good job, me!

flipxcyd01 has leapfrogged michiganlargefan and has taken the lead. But much like last week, the margin is razor-thin. Regardless, it looks like we're heading toward a closely contested TAR Casino Game.

I just realized that if we're going to make ignoring teams worthwhile this year, that I'll have to space out those payouts as much as possible this year.
Bonus Game - PATch Adams
Yes, I've run out of PAT puns, but I don't care. This time, we'll honor the beloved tolerated Robin Williams classic, Patch Adams.
PAT stands for the Painfully Average Team which is the team that finishes right smack in the middle of the pack. They are neither awesome, nor sucky. They're just kinda there. For this week, with 7 teams remaining, that'll be the team that finishes in 4th place.
So you're essentially placing a wager on which team will finish 4th. If you're right, you get a huge payout. If you're wrong you lose the bet. This is a completely separate wager from your regular bet, though. You may also only make one bonus wager, so it's an all-or-nothing gamble.

Incorrect Answer - 0x
Max Bet - 30 points
Also, as mentioned earlier, the bonus game is completely exempt from the "ignore a team" option. No team will be "ignored" when figuring out who the PAT is... 4th place on the show will always be 4th place. Also, you may wager on the team you ignored last week for the PAT bonus.

Scoring/posting only took about 45 minutes... Not too bad, considering the ignore feature makes things difficult. Not too bad when 2/3rd of the bets are on Dave/Connor and Jet/Cord.
