Miss the Train? No Problem!
That was a weird leg. Usually when a couple teams fall an hour behind the pack, it becomes a showdown between those two. But in this week's episodes, both Jason/Amy and Tim/Marie really made up time at the Detour and Roadblock, while front-running teams like Travis/Nicole and Ally/Ashley fell apart in the second half.
Week 9 Results
1st place - Leo/Jamal (2x)
2nd place - Tim/Marie (1.5x)
3rd place - Jason/Amy (even)
4th place - Travis/Nicole (.5x)
5th place - Ally/Ashley (0x)
And Then There Were Eight
This was one of those weeks where this season's format made things interesting. Scores were generally really good overall, for wildly different reasons. Some players took advantage of the 2x booster and quadrupled up, while other players nailed the SAME/DIFFERENT bonus. The answer to the game was ALL DIFFERENT, except for Ally/Ashley who was the one SAME.
We did lose one more player this week, FFantasyFX. Unfortunately it was the full boost combined with the bonus game that did you in, but considering how many players have been knocked out already, it's hard to feel bad about your Top 10 finish.
Besides, we needed someone to fall this week to keep our "And Then There Were None" theme going. 
This week's Greatest Gainer Award is a giant tie between sarah1234, beau_30, Belle Book, and kduck, who all climbed 1 rank. Good job, all of you.
The Perfect Bet Award goes to Belle Book (4x), who quadrupled up with a max-bet-max-boost combo. It's tough to get more perfect than that, eh? Nicely done.

louislam still remains atop the Leaderboard, but the rest of the players are still within striking distance. Considering the 4x possibility, there's still time to mount a comeback.

Max Individual Bet - 500 points
Max Booster - 2x
You may have noticed by now, but because there's only 4 teams left, a max 2x boost means 1st place is 4x and the rest become 0x. It's basically an all-or-nothing venture if you wanna go that route.
The Booster goes away for the finale, changing to a No-Limit-No-Booster format with a bonus game. So if you wanna make a big move, this week may be a useful opportunity.
Bonus Game - Quotable You
The format this year made finding a Final 4 bonus game difficult. Doing a loan game doesn't make sense with the booster 0x'ing everything this week and I gotta offer something better than 4x to make the bonus game have a purpose.
