Weather Permitting
You just knew, the moment they commented on the whole "weather permitting" condition for the Fast Forward, it was going to become a thing. Meanwhile, this week's Roadblock was a horrifying one for those of you who can't sing (like your host, here). See Tim or Danny (whichever one?) have to struggle through that song was painful, and I fully sympathize with him. I would've probably tried to ham it up all operatic style like Jamal and Leo.

...Well, uh, this is extremely awkward.
I guess the way I'll put it, is that scores weren't that good in general this week. Tim/Marie and Jason/Amy's 4th or 5th place finishes seem pretty innocuous, but for all of the players who did a max boost this week, it zeroed out a lot of scores.
Of the 23 players surviving from last week, we lost 10 this week: Georjanna, ARNutz, vennui, esquire, KwietOne, Starshine, flipxcyd, adricharlie, Estee, and floyd2. As someone who suffered a huge loss in points myself, I can definitely relate to that sickening feeling as Tim/Marie stayed longer and longer at that Roadblock. Thanks for playing, all of you! 
This week's Greatest Gainer Award, ironically, goes to mikey and kduck, who both climbed 10 ranks overall after being absent for a week. So, good job, guys?

The object of this game is to pick two teams whose ranks at the end of the next episode add up to 7. In other words, that means you're trying to pick the teams that finish 1st & 6th, 2nd & 5th, or 3rd & 4th.
It doesn't matter what your intent is, just the outcome. If you bet on two teams, expecting them to be 1st & 6th, and then they finish 3rd & 4th, you still win. All you're doing is picking two teams for your wager and hoping they add to 7. I can't tell you how many times I've dumb lucked my way into a win at this game. I recall a bet I made a couple years back expecting my guys to finish 2nd/5th... And then they ended up finishing 3rd/4th, causing me to win the bonus anyway. Hooray for luck!
Place a wager next to your bonus picks. If the final ranks of the two bonus teams you pick equals 7, then you're a winner.

So, I watched TAR on Monday night while I was keeping tabs on the Monday Night football game (since I have Aaron Rodgers in my Fantasy League). It was not a very happy evening in the Jims02 household.
