This week's elimination was a surprising one, given Chester & Ephraim's strong finish in the past leg. They seemed like a team that could go deep into the race, so it's a bit disappointing to see them hit such a string of bad luck at the airports. There were a lot of gamesmanship in particular at the airport, seeing Leo/Jamal trying to jockey Tim/Danny onto that flight...

Boom or Bust
This seemed to be one of those "fork in the road" kind of weeks, where the scores diverged a bit. Travis/Nicole and Jason/Amy were fairly popular picks and netted a lot of points, but Tim/Marie and Chester/Ephraim were also fairly popular too... So the results were a bit of a mixed bag overall.
We did have one player bust out of the game this week, however: pepperz. After last weeks 1st place finish, Chester/Ephraim seemed like safe bets, but alas, their delayed flight did them in. Thanks for playing, pepperz! 
This week's Greatest Gainer Award goes to vennui who climbed 11 ranks overall, and is now right on the bubble of the Top 10. Way to go, vennui!
And, this week's the Perfect Bet Award goes to both ARNutz and vennui, who doubled-up on their Travis/Nicole bets. Very nicely done.
