PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"TAR 23 - First Impressions" |
LAST EDITED ON 09-24-13 AT 11:51 AM (EST) The race returns next week. I know there are fewer of us than ever but I'm going to try to keep the Lvoe List going. It's part of my enjoyment of the Race. This will not technically be a Lvoe List, just a bunch of first impressions of the team with no ranking.
Ally & Ashley - The blond female team. Has there ever been a Race without one? Hope we get more Dustin & Kandace than Tami & Karli.
Chester & Ephraim - Former NFL players. I'm never much of a fan of the pro athlete teams.
Brandon & Adam - Beard enthusiasts. Getting a bad premonition of corny jokes about facial hair.
Hoskote & Naina - Father/daughter teams don't have the greatest track record. I'm thinking early exit.
Jason & Amy - Dating couple. Seem straight out of central casting for "Dating Couple"
Leo & Jamal - Jamal says Leo reminds him of Albert Einstein. TAR's answer to Sheldon?
Tim & Danny - Oil guys. Tim says he reminds himself of Will Ferrell. Please be eliminated first. Please.
Nicky & Kim - Baseball wives. I'll have to wait and see on this team.
Rowan & Shane - Drag queens. Comic relief team that will be gone quickly. (not a spoiler, just an opinion)
Tim & Marie - Exes that seem to have been cast as the villians. Come off as arrogant in their bio
Nicole & Travis - ER doctors. Could be a threat, could be Idries & Jamal.
Capn2patch put me in motion!

4. "RE: TAR 23 - First Impressions" |
Ally & Ashley - Most likely to have photos of every team ever to be on the Race. Why? To prove that they are, by far, the prettiest team to ever exist, of course. OBVI! Chester & Ephraim - Most likely to blow scores in the early rounds of the TAR Casino Game.
Brandon & Adam - Most likely to be walking advertisement for Best Natural Deodorant. "Before" or "After" status to be determined.
Hoskote & Naina - Most likely to Detour more often than other teams between tasks due to need to work on "communication" and "understanding" issues between them.
Jason & Amy - Most likely to need to work on their relationship be there only to make real money - take advantage (of others) immediately. Broken up three weeks after elimination.
Leo & Jamal - Most Likely to be asked to repair my laptop. If I find myself in southern Ohio with a broken laptop.
Tim & Danny - Most likely to screw up PTTE lists.
Nicky & Kim - Most likely creators of online empowerment blog. Having been relegated to the back of the bus for many a road trip, faux self-esteem is all these girls have left.
Bonus impression - Most likely to kill race fans when their personal contributions to the TAR Drinking Game are to cause us to drink everytime they start a confessional with, "We're not just baseball wives,..." or, "As baseball wives, we..." Rowan & Shane - Most likely to have been cast for their own reality show, then switched to Race at last minute to build automatic feeder audience for show premier.
Tim & Marie - Most likely to have something to say and expect you to stand there while they say it. Repeatedly. Loudly. Repoudly.
Nicole & Travis - Most likely Lvoe List title contenders.

12. "RE: TAR 23 - First Impressions" |
Chester & Ephraim - Most likely to blow scores in the early rounds of the TAR Casino Game. Impression: Confirmed. In a round where points were at a premium, very few bettors capitilized on their postive value in scoring. The second round saw little betting their direction, and thus denying many a double-down point increase. And their elimination in the third leg of the race also eliminated (or nearly eliminated) several all-in bettors at the Casino. Tebow Time is over. We prefer to win games in the 1st quarter. Tim & Danny - Most likely to screw up PTTE lists. Since PTTE lists have been extinct the past two seasons, I'll call this one Impossible to Verify

NOW THEREFORE, I do recommend and assign THURSDAY, the TWENTY-SIXTH DAY of NOVEMBER next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks...
