A Target for Some Reason
I have to admit, I never got the whole thing about Abbie/Ryan needing to go home because they have a shot a two million dollars. I can see the argument that they're a threat, but I always roll their eyes at the two million dollars excuse. If you lose the game, it doesn't really matter how much they actually win, right?
I was bummed to see 'em go, just because they fight with the Twinnies a lot and I hate the twinnies.

Against the Odds
According to Monsieur Popeave, there were 32 different possible answers to the "SAME or DIFFERENT" game. And I offered a mere 6x payout to it.
But, amazingly, a good number of people were able to get the bonus game correct, with an answer of "ALL DIFFERENT". There were still a bunch that missed it too, but it was surprising how many people were able to beat the odds!
This week's Greatest Gainer Award goes to Pplys, who climbed 4 ranks this week. In a week of not too much moving, you gotta take what you can get. Nicely done!
And this week's Perfect Bet Award goes to vennui (2.9x), who certainly used the bonus game to its fullest advantage and had a nice payday. Other players with awesome weeks were Floyd1 (2.6x), CTgirl (2.1x), Starshine (2.07x) and louislam and Pplys at 2x each. Congrats!

Week 10 Payout Table

Boring table, I'm sure, but we can't shake things up every week!
Bonus Game - Bank Bank Bank
Here at Jims' TAR Casino, we're always looking for ways to raise the stakes. Hate the limits on the wagers? Want to make an even bigger wager than usual? Well, I've got a deal for you.
This week, I'll let you borrow up to 120 points, even more than a max bet's worth. What's more, I'll let you bet on whatever team(s) you want with it, even if you've already laid a max bet on them with your own points. The only exception to this rule, of course, is if that team is locked out. You can't borrow points and bet them on a lockout team.
This wager would be completely separate on your other wagers, and would be subject to the same payout table, including lockout bonuses.
For example, if you had 100 points this week, your wager might look like:
80 points - Nadiya/Natalie
20 points - Trey/Lexi
Borrowing 120 points
120 points - Nadiya/Natalie
In this example, you'd essentially be betting 200 points on the Twinnies, 80 of your own and 120 borrowed points.
The only downside? I'm charging 30% interest. That's pretty high, even by my standards. But big risk means big rewards, eh?
That means, if you borrow the full 120 points this week, you have to pay back... (a) the 120 points I loaned you, and (b) 36 points (30%) in interest. That would be a total of 156 points I'd be collecting from you next week.
Now, if you turned the 120 points into 240, paying up wouldn't be such a big deal. But, if your wager yielded a 3rd or 4th place finish... Well, it might not be pretty. I still want my points back.
Remember, this wager counts separate from your regular wager. If you choose to borrow points, specify the number of points you're borrowing and label that wager separately. No flat 200-point wagers on one team; do it as a 80 and a 120. And you don't have to borrow all 120 points. That's just the maximum loan I'm giving.

Good luck!

Sorry for the slight delay. I was in a game of Mafia that really ran awry tonight.
