Haunted by the U-TurnPoor Amanda & Kris, those U-Turns just seem to follow them around, huh? At least this one was their own fault, but still. Kind of a shame that it cost them another season on The Amazing Race. The really ironic thing about it is that it seems relatively less likely (considering some of the talent this season) that they would've been a target later on by some of the teams. Week 2 Results

We also had a few new players join in this week, cahaya, Georjanna, and Nume. We almost had tvgeek401, but they narrowly missed the posting deadline. Hopefully we'll see them this week! Unfortunately, we did lose two players pretty early this season, Molaholic and taffnic, who unfortunately used their rebuy on Amanda/Kris. This season didn't turn out too well, but hopefully I'll see you next season, so you can turn that luck around!  The Greatest Gainer Award goes to the player who jumps up the most ranks in a particular week. Our inaugural winner this year is IanQuentin, who climbed a very cool 22 ranks to #20 overall, thanks to a rebuy. samboohoo also turned lemons into lemonade, moving up 20 spots. Nicely done! The Perfect Bet Award goes to the player who has the best statistical wager (in terms of their payout). This week, it goes to samboohoo and MzTee who both doubled-up with Zev/Justin wagers. Did I mention it was in French?  In short, for a while we had both the pound and the dollar. The pound was divided into 20 "sous" and there were 6 pounds in one dollar. So there were 30 "sous" in a quarter. The pound was forgotten but not the expression.
