The opening episode to an All-Stars season is always interesting. First, there's the emotion of, "Wow, I'm so happy to see Team X again!". But then that's followed up by "So, was this team always so awful at The Amazing Race?" statements. I was also kinda surprised that they sent these second-timers through Australia (an English-speaking country) first.
I say, bring on the language barrier!

Second Chances? I Guess I'll Rebuy.
As discussed at the end of the previous thread, the opening "To Be Continued" episode made a mess of the scoring. Traditionally, whenever the show has a TBC episode, we just throw out the results. And the rules very clearly say that there needs to be a pitstop. On the other hand, they've never given us the team rankings to the extent that they have.
So we have a leg of The Amazing Race, which technically isn't a leg. I think both arguments are pretty valid ones, so I present to you the following offer.
Through the next three entries, players are allowed to rebuy. A player may rebuy under the following conditions.
1. If you rebuy, I'll throw out your previous score and you will enter the game as a new player. You will be awarded the number of points that new players receive for this week's entry.
2. All new players who join the game in Week 2 will receive 15 points... So if you rebuy right now, that's how many points you get. This amount goes down each week (10 next, 5 after that), and I'll keep the Rebuy Amount posted in the Payout Table.
3. You do not have to be eliminated to rebuy. So, if you have less than 15 points, you may still rebuy and get back up to 15 to start this week.
4. You may only rebuy once. If you blow through these 15 points, then I ain't giving away any more. 
Just announce if you're going to rebuy and I'll make a note of it in the rankings.

Through the next 3 weeks, the TAR Casino will be open to new entrants. As mentioned previously, all new players this week will be given 15 points to play. For the official rules, please consult last week's entry.

Also, as veteran players may have noticed the Maximum Individual Bet has returned for this season. That means that the maximum amount you can wager on one specific team is 20 points. If you're already above the 20-point mark, you can still bet all of them... You'll just have to spread around the points to more than one team.
No wager on an individual team may exceed 20 points this week.
The max bet will change each week based on the median score of the bunch. The final week of the game will be No-Limit, however, so plan accordingly.
