And not just the Detour options. It seems like the teams were really clowning around with the directions this week, with all the potential penalties. Luckily for them, Brook & Claire realized their mistake and went back. It ended up costing Michael & Kevin the game, as they were the next team to be eliminated.

Curse You, Brook & Claire!
The Bonus Game was all about predicting who would gain and fall, and Brook/Claire was the one team that decided to stay put... Ultimately ruining all of the bets that included them. Myself included. 
The bonus game was still a fun game, though, as it showed off a lot of different strategies. Many players pushed their luck to go for a big payoff, and many played it safe, being satisfied by an easy 2x or 3x for the bonus game.
Personally, my favorite bonus games are always the ones where you get the choice regarding the risk level, so I hope everyone else enjoyed the game too. 
The bonus game did claim yet another player, Georjanna, who went for the big 10x payout. It would've been pretty amazing to go from 6 points to 60 in one week! It didn't ultimately work out, but it was worth a shot. Thanks for playing, Georjanna.
This week's Greatest Gainer Award goes chiubakka, who climbed 5 ranks to #15 overall. Very nicely done.
Perfect Bet Award goes to esquire (3x) who made a nice bonus wager to triple up. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a nice payout.

Bonus Game - Lucky 7!
After a couple new bonuses, let's mix in some of the old stuff.
In this bonus game, the object is to add to 7. That is, players wager on a pair of teams whose final ranks will add to equal 7. That means, you're looking to pick either the pair that finishes 1st/6th, 2nd/5th, or 3rd/4th.
It doesn't matter what your expectations were. If you were going for 1st/6th and they finish 2nd/5th, you still win. Basically, if they add to 7, you win points. If they don't, you lose you wager. Simple as that. Just like in craps.
Remember, your bonus wager is on a pair of teams, so don't forget to put both down. It doesn't matter if you made a regular wager on them all ready. These picks are completely separate from those.
